Role

Rock Trust are delighted to offer up an exciting opportunity to work as part of our new ‘Upstream’ project team. We are looking to build a team of passionate and experienced project workers to deliver our schools based prevention project to identify and support young people who are at risk of homelessness. The role will include providing 1:1 support to young people, nurturing and maintaining relationships with partners and stakeholders and interpreting and analysing statistical data.

The post holder will be expected to:

  • Build trusting, lasting relationships with young people, working with them to identify individual needs and build a robust support plan
  • Provide flexible, person centered, strengths-based support for as long as is required.
  • Work in a psychologically and trauma informed manner
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key partners and stakeholders
  • Analyse results from statistical gathered to determine service need and target support to those most at risk
  • Promote and share evaluation, learning and best practice.

Rock Trust is Scotland’s leading youth specific homelessness charity. We work with young people aged 16-25 who are at risk of, or who are experiencing homelessness. Our aim is to end youth homelessness in Scotland by ensuring that every young person has access to expert youth specific services to assist them to avoid, survive and move on from homelessness.
