Organised and with an eye for detail, you will provide admin support to a busy Support Coordination team. Your role is to ensure frontline staff have up-to-date information about services that people we work with need and provide administrative support in relation to new registrations, purchase of services and goods, making sure that purchases/ contracting decisions follow procedures and recording requirements.

The role can be based at either or Edinburgh or Glasgow office. There is scope for occasional home working and occasional travel may be required across Scotland.
To provide clients with holistic advice covering debt, income maximisation, energy. This will include preparation of financial statements, explanation of debt options and assistance to access these options. The role will require the ability to interact with clients over the telephone, face to face and using digital channels to provide advice.
Ongoing training will be provided however you should be someone who can demonstrate experience of working with clients who are experiencing multiple and complex issues and who can provide advice sensitively and with confidence to clients.
In addition to managing a caseload you may also be required to work on a duty rota for dealing with initial money advice contacts and for covering outreach services as required, as well as providing 2nd-tier support to other advisers within the Bureau.
You should have an understanding of the effects of financial difficulties and financial hardship on our clients. You should be an excellent team player with a desire to progress with training to meet the standards required.

About the role
You will provide administrative support to the Scotland Clinical Service based within our Glasgow centre, which provides assessment and treatment to individuals, who have survived torture.
You will play a key role in processing and responding to referrals, communicating with survivors and other agencies, as well as proving administrative support to the clinical team. You will book appointments and liaise with interpreters as well as dealing with general queries and updating records.
About you
You will have in depth knowledge of administration systems and Microsoft packages, together with experience or working within a mental health or a clinical setting. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills and work well under pressure.

What is the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Support Co-ordinator , working 35 hours per week.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday 8am and 8pm and Saturdays between 10am to 4pm.
The post holder will have the responsibility of managing volunteers who will support victims and witnesses impacted by Anti-social crime in their local area and linking in with relevant partners to provide advocacy for those impacted by ASB crime. This will be as part of the West team and the rest of the Support Coordinators.
Ideally we would like for the candidate to work Saturdays 10-4pm, and another day of the week in between the hours of 8am-8pm
Primary location:Motherwell, the post holder will be supporting service delivery across the whole locality, with travel across the West area. Our service delivery model is outreach to meet the needs of people impacted by crime. (Expenses will be covered)
Salary: £27,598.93 - £36,445.00 (Pro-rata)
Salary on appointment will normally be at the lower salary point, with progression subject to review - in line with VSS progression arrangements. A higher salary placing will be considered in exceptional circumstances subject to experience demonstrated.
The postholder will be reporting directly to a Locality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring, within your Service(s), that VSS’s local service development and delivery plan is being implemented within your geographical area(s). Service delivery is provided by a team of skilled and knowledgeable volunteers, you will be responsible for planning their deployment to ensure that the service delivered meets the desired outcomes of victims and witnesses of crime, our service users. The postholder will be responsible for all aspects of a volunteer engagement with VSS at your services, including recruitment, induction, learning and development, ongoing performance management and support. Contributing to business planning and co-ordination ensuring that continuous learning takes place to monitor that the outcomes of service users are being met.

What you’ll need to be successful
We are looking for someone who is experienced in a similar role and can evidence of continuing professional development, effective leadership style, able to build confidence, motivate and improve performance and have a clean full driver licence. We are looking for someone with a good working knowledge of the voluntary/charity sector and willing to be flexible in working hours and able to travel as required.

About the role
WEAll Scotland is looking for an experienced and highly organised Administration and Events Officer to provide operational and event support to the organisation. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the operational systems of the organisation ensuring that WEAll Scotland functions effectively to achieve its mission of building a Wellbeing Economy that serves people and planet. You will also work with the team to administer engaging and inspiring meetings, events and workshops to build the Wellbeing Economy movement in Scotland.
These maternity cover posts are a great opportunity to join CAPS’ Children and Young People’s small friendly team to provide individual advocacy to children and young people who are going through the Children’s Hearings system. CAPS is the main provider of advocacy for this issue to children and young people aged 5-18 in East Lothian and Midlothian. CAPS is also the alternate provider for this work in Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders, so travel to work in these areas will also be expected.
The focus of the work is the provision of independent advocacy to support children and young people to express their views and wishes when going through the Children’s Hearings process. Experience of working with children and young people is required as well as proven skills in communicating with them. Advocacy training will be provided.
This post will be subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for regulated work with children.
There will be a 4-month probationary period attached to these posts. Face to face work with children and young people is the focus of the role but some home working is also possible with the agreement of your line manager.
This post is fixed term for 12 months initially to cover maternity leave however may continue thereafter subject to expansion of the CAPS’ Children’s team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our team in Midlothian who are funded to support families experiencing challenges relating to parental substance use, poverty, poor mental health and trauma amongst other factors. In addition, we support Kinship carers and the children and young people in their care. You will join a team offering both whole family and individual supports, where systemic and relational approaches underpin the work we do. We offer peer led groups and connections through community supports also.
This position will predominantly focus on supporting children, young people and their parents where poor mental health is experienced. You will provide both individual and whole family based supports promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. You will also be expected to support group based supports for young people with poor mental health.
If you have experience of working within child protection processes, are committed to restorative approaches, meaningfully involving children and families, and have a professional qualification in a relevant area such as Social Work, Teaching or equivalent in Childcare/Social Care or related area, accredited counselling qualification, or other relevant qualification at SCQF level 9 or higher then we want to hear from you.
