About MECOPP
MECOPP (Minority Ethnic Carers of People Project) is Scotland’s leading Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) carers organisation. Since 2000, we have supported carers from minority ethnic and other marginalised communities who experience disadvantage due to one or more protected characteristics.

South Ayrshire Women’s Aid provides information, support, advocacy and refuge for women, children and young people with experience of domestic abuse. We are a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee.
We are currently seeking new members for our Board of Directors who have a commitment to a feminist analysis of abuse. We are particularly interested in applicants who have skills in legal issues. The Board of Directors meets every two months, generally at the offices of SAWA. The Directors may meet on other occasions to discuss specific items of business or to attend training. We're now on the lookout for an HR Advisor to join our friendly, fast paced HR Team on a full-time, permanent basis. It's a very exciting time to join our team as we start the journey of implementing our brand new HR and Payroll system.
This role can be based in our Glasgow office, or part of our hybrid working model where some of your days will be spent in our Glasgow office and some at home. Our Glasgow office has free parking available for all of our colleagues.

The Role
As an HR Advisor, your main aim will be to provide HR support and guidance to colleagues across Scotland. Your primary focus will be Employee Relations and supporting and coaching our managers to navigate complex HR cases.
You'll work closely with our colleagues to ensure high level quality and compliance in relation to Cornerstone's policies and procedures, values, employment law, HR best practice and regulatory compliance.

Role Description
This is a non-renumerated Board of Trustees role at Action Against Stalking. The Trustees are responsible for the overall governance, strategic direction, and financial oversight of the charity. The role involves attending board meetings, participating in committee work, contributing to the development and implementation of strategic plans, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. alongside the chair, CEO and appointed trustees. This is a hybrid role, ideally based in and around Ayrshire, Glasgow, the Lothians and Lanarkshire. Remote work is the norm, with a requirement to attend at least two board meetings per annum, along with the AGM in person
We are seeking individuals with a passion for supporting our charity with our primary focus on victim rights and victim support. We hold relationships with agencies and support partners across Scotland, and the wider national and international communities.
You may have a background in social care, policing, or previous experience with championing the rights of victims. You could be a HR specialist, or a communications expert. We are seeking committed individuals from wide and varied backgrounds to join us.

Qualifications
RASASH (Rape and Sexual Abuse Service Highland) provides free, confidential support and information to anyone affected by sexual violence in Highland (age 13+). This includes survivors of sexual violence and their non-abusing partners, friends, and families. We support all genders – women, men, non-binary, trans and gender non-conforming, while recognising that sexual violence disproportionally affects women and girls.
We also develop and deliver training and workshops to schools, youth groups, and professionals on a range of topics related to sexual violence and gender equality. This, alongside our youth-led campaigning, is part of our work to change societal attitudes which contribute to sexual violence and the shaming of survivors.
RASASH is the only specialist sexual violence service in Highland. Our service is women-led and trauma-informed.
We are looking for new Trustees to join our Board to help guide our strategic direction and ensure we continue providing essential support to survivors across the region.

Break The Silence make a profound and positive difference in the lives of those affected by childhood sexual trauma, their partners and family members. We support all genders, age 13+ across East and North Ayrshire. Operating since 2004, Break the Silence is a registered charity in Scotland (SCO36263), a company limited by guarantee (SC341157) and strives to be a centre of excellence for clients and stakeholders. We hold British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy service accreditation and won Ayrshire Chamber’s prestigious Business Excellence Award, 2004.
We offer a professional counselling service, working collaboratively at the client’s pace, facilitating positive change through healing to challenge the effects of sexual trauma and to assist post-traumatic growth; provide psychoeducational support for partners and family members; and explore opportunities to influence, promoting early intervention and prevention and representing the collective voice of those affected by sexual trauma to educate and inform, reducing inequalities by improving education and understanding of trauma in our communities.

Federation of Scottish Theatre are looking for two new individuals to join our Board of Trustees. FST plays a vital role in advocating for, connecting across, and leading necessary change within Scotland’s performing arts sector. As an organisation, we are guided by a dedicated Board of Directors, made up of experienced professionals from across the performing arts sector in Scotland. Seeking Board Members
ScotWays (The Scottish Rights of Way & Access Society) is an independent charity which has been upholding public access rights since 1845. We are seeking Directors with the time, commitment and passion to contribute actively to ScotWays’ work. If you would like to help defend and promote Scotland's outdoor access rights, this could be the ideal role for you!
We are the experts on Scottish outdoor access law and support others to uphold the public’s rights of access to land and inland water, providing information to the public, local and national government, and landowners. We developed and maintain the Catalogue of Rights of Way (CROW), a database of information on routes across Scotland. With assistance from our volunteers, we install and maintain over 3000 directional signs on tracks and paths.
Our publications include The Law of Access to Land in Scotland, the comprehensive guide to outdoor access law, and Scottish Hill Tracks, a unique resource for walkers, cyclists, riders and runners wishing to explore the network of paths, old roads and rights of way which criss-cross Scotland’s hill country.
We are a small charity with eight staff and an office in central Edinburgh. Our board of trustees is responsible for the strategic leadership and governance of the Society.
We are looking for skills and experience in the following areas:
Board meetings are held in Edinburgh five times a year. Attendance can be in person or remotely and we welcome directors from across Scotland. As well as attending Board meetings and our AGM, directors are expected to join and assist with the work of one or two sub-committees.
Previous experience of being on a board, love of the outdoors and a knowledge of Scotland's outdoor access rights is useful, but not essential.

The Association owns and rents over 2,000 social rented homes in the Angus and Dundee area. We are a registered Charity regulated by both OSCR and the Scottish Housing Regulator and have a staff team of around 50.
Our Board of Management members are all volunteers and we value their time and commitment to deliver our aims. You will be reimbursed for out of pocket expenses.

Successful applicants will receive effective induction and will be supported to learn new skills. The Board meetings are usually held on Wednesday mornings. Our full Board of Management meets 6 times a year. We have 4 sub committees that meet quarterly for Finance, Audit & Risk, Service Delivery, Development and Remuneration. Typically, Board
members are on one of the sub committees making the commitment 10 meetings a year. Meetings are normally held in person in Arbroath however we can offer participation using Teams for members who cannot attend in person.
