Athletics Trust Scotland was launched in 2021 to use the power of athletics and running to transform lives in Scotland.
We are committed to making the sport more accessible for all, by supporting people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to access opportunities to participate and improve their physical, mental and social wellbeing. We are particularly focussed on supporting three communities that are underrepresented in athletics and running in Scotland:
We work closely with scottishathletics, as well as other key partners such as jogscotland, the passionate community of athletics clubs and running groups throughout Scotland, and charities like Scottish Sport Futures, to achieve its aims.
The Board of seven Trustees, led by Graeme Jack as Chair provide strategic oversight and guidance to the Head of Fundraising and Development. The Board is also supported by our Patron, Eilidh Doyle.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Head of Fundraising & Development (maternity cover) to lead on the delivery of Athletics Trust Scotland’s objectives for 2026-27, with a specific focus on increasing fundraising across four priority funding streams:

Beith Trust is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the management and development of our community-owned estate and facilities.
The role will ensure the effective operation, maintenance and improvement of Geilsland Estate, Main Street properties and Beith Astro, supporting the Trust’s work to provide community activity, enterprise opportunities and accessible facilities.
Working closely with the CEO, the General Manager will oversee estate maintenance, contractor management, health & safety compliance and facilities operations. The role will also involve coordinating maintenance teams, supporting tenants and site users, and delivering estate improvement projects.
Applicants should have at least two years’ experience in a similar estates, facilities or property management role, with strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.

As part of the next phase of our Rivers Project, we are recruiting for a Catchment Restoration Development Officer.
Background
Sustaining Dunbar, in partnership with Forth Rivers Trust (FRT), has secured development phase funding to prepare detailed, shovel-ready nature restoration plans for the Dry Burn and Spott Burn catchments in East Lammermuir. This project is part of a wider, long-term ambition to deliver landscape-scale nature recovery across East Lammermuir from summit to sea.
The development phase will identify and design a portfolio of restoration interventions — riparian tree planting, natural flood management measures, habitat connectivity improvements, and invasive species control — working across approximately 22 landholdings in the two catchments. The technical design work will be led by FRT. The role of this post is to make that technical work possible: by building the relationships with landowners and land managers that underpin it, and by coordinating the programme so that individual work packages fit together coherently across land boundaries.
Purpose of the Role
To coordinate this next phase of the project and act as the primary point of contact for landowners and land managers across the Dry Burn and Spott Burn catchments, building the trust and relationships necessary to develop coherent, spatially connected restoration work packages, and to coordinate these with Forth Rivers Trust so as to develop a portfolio of credible and fundable habitat enhancement and restoration projects.

About the team
Our Policy & Participation Team helps develop Cyrenians’ work to influence policy and systems change through learning from lived and professional experience.
Based within Cyrenians’ Outreach pillar, we work closely with services across the whole organisation, as well as external stakeholders and partners, including national and local government, funders and other third sector organisations.
The team currently consists of a Policy & Participation Manager and Youth Participation Lead.
We cover three main projects:
In addition to delivering the projects above, the team works closely with the Press & Public Affairs Manager on influencing opportunities and – when capacity allows – supports other policy and participation initiatives across Cyrenians’ services, e.g. cross-organisational responses to public policy consultations.
About the role
This is a new role created to mainly support delivery on two of our participation projects: the Scottish Frontline Network and All in For Change.
Working closely with the Policy & Participation Manager, you will deliver activities across both projects. The main focus will be to create safe and inclusive ways for people with experience of homelessness and frontline staff to share their expertise and influence change. Key activities will include organising and facilitating various types of engaging events, workshops, focus groups and meetings (both online and in-person) for frontline professionals and people with lived experience of homelessness.
As this is a new post and there will be scope to shape the position depending on your own interests and experience. We are keen to support you to try things out and bring your own ideas to the table.

The Boys’ Brigade (BB) is a Christian uniformed youth organisation, providing opportunities for children and young people to learn, grow and discover in a safe, fun, and caring environment.

We are delighted to have recently secured funding for Phase 7 of CashBack – ‘Location CashBack’. Working together with Youth Scotland, Guides and Scouts – Location CashBack is a three-year Leadership and Participation programme funded by Scottish Government CashBack for Communities Funding.
Location CashBack will support young people aged 10-25 years in SIMD 1-2 areas who may also face barriers including being impacted by poverty, crime and anti-social behaviour.

We are recruiting a Childminding Development Officer to help us expand the childminding workforce across Scotland and support the delivery of school age childcare placements with childminders.
The Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA) is the national voice of childminding in Scotland. SCMA is a national Third Sector and membership organisation that promotes childminding as a quality childcare service. Working on behalf of its 2,500 childminder members, SCMA helps to improve the wellbeing and outcomes for Scotland’s children and aims to influence policy to ensure that it is informed by the experiences of childminding. SCMA provides a wide range of support and professional services for members including training and events as well as delivering local services. The successful applicant will work to support potential new childminders by delivering a childminding recruitment model in targeted local authority areas and by setting up funded placements for school age children. You will work closely with the Childminding Liaison Officer and Area Manager and recruitment team, using SCMA’s successful childminding specific models of recruitment and placements, with the aim of increasing the number of childminders across Scotland and the number of children accessing placements with childminders.
The postholder is required to have proven ability to prioritise work and forward plan. Enthusiasm, self-motivation, good communication and excellent organisational skills are required.

This post is fixed term, with initial funding to March 2027
The post is home/head office based, requiring regular attendance at Head Office in Stirling, and travel on occasion to local authority areas across Scotland as required.
