Hemat Gryffe Women’s Aid supports women, children and young people experiencing domestic abuse, forced marriage and honour-based abuse primarily from the Asian, Black and Minority Ethnic community. We provide refuge accommodation, follow on and outreach services for women and children.

Reporting to our Head of Scotland, you’re Dogs for Good’s very first Fundraising Manager in Scotland, and you’ll play an important part in establishing and developing fundraising activity in the region.
Over an initial 18-month period, you’ll explore and demonstrate the viability of fundraising and income generation in Scotland. You’ll lead on identifying, researching and applying to trusts, foundations and local grant funders, while also supporting community fundraising activity to increase income, engagement and awareness of Dogs for Good’s work.
This is an 18-month fixed term contract and part time (21 hours per week).

About Partick Thistle Charitable Trust
Partick Thistle Charitable Trust (PTCT) is the official charitable arm of Partick Thistle FC.
We use the power of football and sport to improve lives across Glasgow, delivering programmes that support health and wellbeing, education, inclusion and community cohesion. Our work engages children, young people, adults and older people from diverse backgrounds, with a strong focus on those facing disadvantage.
Role Purpose
The Community Engagement Manager will lead the delivery of our Stand Up, Speak Out project and oversee the development, coordination and delivery of community engagement activity across Firhill, Springburn and the wider north of Glasgow.
The core purpose of the role is to provide support, safe spaces and meaningful opportunities for young people predominantly aged 14–21 within the communities we serve. These young people are from disadvantaged backgrounds, may be facing exclusion, or may be at risk of offending. You will develop, plan and lead sessions within Firhill Stadium, Petershill Park and other community safe spaces, ensuring that young people’s voices shape our work and that they feel valued, included and empowered. This role is funded through the CashBack for Communities scheme.
A key element of the post will be the creation, development and ongoing support of a Youth Panel, enabling local young people to influence PTCT programmes, co-design activities and act as ambassadors for their peers and communities.
The role will also build strong relationships with local residents, community groups, schools, partners and stakeholders; ensure that PTCT programmes are responsive to local needs; and help grow participation, impact and the visibility of the Trust’s work.
At Berwickshire Housing Association (BHA) it’s our people that make us special as a values-led community-based housing association. BHA’s successful befriending service, BeFriend operates across Berwickshire and the Kelso area, providing informal companionship to people over 65 who are living in their own homes and are isolated or lonely.
As a BeFriend Service Worker, you will work within the befriending service, providing a first class befriending service to people over the age of 65 living in Berwickshire and Kelso. Reporting to the BeFriend Co-ordinator, you will assess older people in the community, who are living with dementia and are isolated, to provide BHA’s befriending service. In conjunction with the coordinator you will lead on managing, training, and expanding the team of volunteers who provide one to one befriending.
You will assess befriendees who are living with dementia and match them with a befriender, referring them to our community befriending service, or to external services which might be able to help.
You should be enthusiastic about promoting BeFriend in the community and be able to speak confidently about BHA/BeFriend and what they have to offer.
You are someone who enjoys helping your colleagues out when needed, with the services that BeFriend has to offer.

Please Note: BHA and the BeFriend Project operate an agile working model, which means you can flex your location between your home, our offices in Duns, and other hubs as appropriate, however as this role is part of a customer facing responsive service, any discussion about working hours would take place upon a successful offer.

Recruiting New Members of the Anti-Racism Observatory for Scotland (AROS) Strategic Advisory Board
Scotland is taking a vital step in tackling systemic racism with the establishment of the Anti-Racism Observatory for Scotland (AROS).
AROS has been made possible thanks to years of work by communities and experts, and has been established to support community-led efforts to tackle racism in the public sector.
To support and guide AROS through its incubation period to December 2027, a Strategic Advisory Board (SAB) has been established to provide strong, transparent external oversight. We are now recruiting two new Board members with specific skills to join this body.
We are looking for candidates who bring knowledge, skills and experience in anti-racism in the Scottish context, alongside the qualities needed to steer, provide oversight and govern the work of the Observatory. The Board specifically requires a Board member with legal expertise.
