Main Tasks
• Provide advice and assistance with welfare benefit entitlement claims and money, debt and general housing issues, via centre based, telephone, outreach and home visit appointments.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and spiritually mature Christian leader to develop and pioneer faith-based youth work across Kinross-shire.

What KYTHE Needs From You
The ideal candidate will hold a recognised qualification in Christian Ministry with an emphasis on youth work and bring substantial experience of working with young people. You will be confident discussing and exploring the Christian faith with young people, including those with little prior church experience.
Collaborative and relational in your approach, you will be able to work effectively with churches of different denominations while building trust with young people from diverse backgrounds.
You will demonstrate spiritual maturity, personal integrity and a clear commitment to Christian faith and leadership.
A creative and reflective practitioner, you will be comfortable contributing to team prayer, engaging in your own spiritual development, and supporting colleagues in theirs. The successful candidate will work with project leads to communicate the impact of their service to stakeholders including funders, teachers, parents/care givers and organisational partners. The ultimate aim, to raise the profile of the organisation in the Scottish youth work landscape with potential and existing funders, partners, and other stakeholders.
You will be required to create communications and content plans for key channels including our website, social media channels and email.
We rely on a range of funders for income to support projects and new services in response to growing and changing needs. The role holder will also work closely with the CEO to conduct desk research for funding applications ensuring our funding bids are aligned with market trends and changes in the sector.

The project officer for the Volunteer Recruitment Project will help deliver this special project which is designed to recruit and welcome more volunteers into Girlguiding Scotland.
You will be a key member of the Volunteer Recruitment project team. You’ll use your knowledge and experience, and insights gathered by our Volunteer Recruitment Officers who are out and about supporting local recruitment and awareness raising activities across Scotland, to identify opportunities to create new resources, trainings and partnerships.

You will play a key role in our busy office being the first point of contact, in person, on the phone and by email.
