Thorntree Street opened in 2004 and is dedicated to supporting 12 men over the age of 50. The service provides 12 self-contained apartments with communal kitchen space, daily meals are provided to ensure our tenants nutritional needs are met. Shared areas with entertainment, and a garden space offer the chance for social connections. Developed in partnership with Bield Housing Association, Thorntree Street introduced a new model of support for older men who have experienced long-term homelessness. By offering a stable, supportive environment that combines supported living with a care-at-home approach, the service aims to break the cycle of repeat homelessness for each tenant, and should they wish, a home for life.
In our temporary supported accommodations, the core purpose of this job is to support people who are experiencing homelessness, to build the skills and support networks they need to prepare them for independent living when they move into their own tenancy.

The Night Concierge will work with the people we support to provide positive, and emotional support that promotes choice and encourages personal responsibility.

We’re introducing a new Learning Management System and need some extra support during this important stage. You’ll join our Learning & Organisational Development (L&OD) team and help us manage learning records, reporting, course administration and everyday enquiries.
No two days will be the same - you might be updating learner records, arranging workshops, producing a compliance report, responding to an enquiry or checking that our learning information is clear and up to date. You’ll also help maintain the spreadsheets, dashboards and systems that allow us to see how learning is progressing across CHAS.

• strong Microsoft Excel skills, as well as experience using Outlook, Teams and other Microsoft 365 applications

The role is a 4 month fixed term contract, offered on a part-time basis of 17.5 hours per week (2.5 days). Role
The purpose of the F&PC is to advise the Board on the investment of Ecas’ assets and oversee implementation of the Board’s strategic policies relating to finance, personnel and health & safety. The focus of the F&PC and Board is to continue the policy of maximising benefit to disabled people whilst keeping expenditure under control.
As Chair of the committee, you will play a key role in overseeing the charity’s finances, including the management accounts, annual audit, budget, and investments. You will be responsible for reviewing the draft F&PC meeting papers prepared by the Chief Executive. The Chair of the F&PC will also be a Director (trustee) appointed by the Board.
This is a voluntary role that requires attendance at three F&PC meetings and three Board meetings a year. Occasional ad hoc meetings may be required. In-person attendance preferred for F&PC meetings.
