Scotlands Charity Air Ambulance

Data Management Officer

  • Scotlands Charity Air Ambulance
  • Full time
  • £31,000 – £35,000
  • Hybrid/Remote: Scone Airport or Aberdeen Airport
  • Closing 16th August 2026

Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time.

People can get sick or have accidents anywhere and anytime. But in Scotland there are places where urgent medical help cannot reach people. Or help gets there too late. And when lives are at risk every minute matters. As a charity we rely on donations from the Scottish public, companies and communities to ensure that urgent medical help gets to the patient when it is needed, wherever they are and at whatever time of day.

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Data Management Officer to join the charity’s Data and Insights Function. You will be joining the charity at a time of

significant opportunity as we continue to strengthen our approach to data, insight and supporter engagement.

The Data Management Officer will mainly be responsible for managing and developing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and supporter data. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CRM and data professional who enjoys hands-on responsibility for systems, process improvement and data management, and enabling colleagues to deliver exceptional fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement activity. Working closely with teams across the charity, you will ensure our CRM remains effective, compliant and fit for purpose while helping us better understand and engage our supporters. Your work will directly contribute to our ability to raise funds and support our life-saving mission.

This role can be offered on a fully remote basis, with the option to work from Perth Airport, where SCAA headquarters are located or our Aberdeen base at Aberdeen Airport, if preferred. Occasional travel to our Perth base will be required for the successful candidate. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current approach typically includes two office days per week for those working on a hybrid basis. The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm.

Children's Hospices Across Scotland

Senior Philanthropy Executive (Mid-Level Giving)

  • Children's Hospices Across Scotland
  • Full time
  • £41,701 – £48,200
  • Hybrid: Edinburgh, Glasgow, Kinross, Balloch
  • Closing 6th August 2026

Are you a confident relationship-builder who can inspire people to make a meaningful difference for children and families across Scotland?

We are looking for a Senior Philanthropy Executive to join our Partnerships & Philanthropy team and help grow income from CHAS’s mid-level giving audience. This role will focus on building strong relationships with donors and prospects who typically give £1,500–£9,999 per year, while identifying new opportunities to grow supporter loyalty, increase giving, and develop major gift prospects.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys thoughtful relationship management by combining compelling communication and proactive donor development. You will manage and grow a portfolio of mid-level donors, create tailored stewardship plans, spot opportunities within our supporter base, and work across CHAS to help build a strong pipeline of future philanthropic support.

The role sits within CHAS’s Partnerships & Philanthropy team and will play an important part in supporting long-term income growth and sustainability for the charity. The post can be based at any central CHAS site, but this is a flexible role that will allow for ample home and remote work. Regular (weekly) travel to meetings and events will be required in this role with some locations not easily accessed via public transport. • Strong relationship-building skills, with experience of increasing supporters’ financial and non-financial commitment over time.
  • The ability to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and donor communications that inspire people to support a cause.
  • Confidence working across teams to develop strong pipelines, identify opportunities, and translate relationships into income.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet agreed deadlines.
  • The ability to communicate with warmth, clarity and influence — whether through writing, meetings, events, presentations or conversations with supporters.
  • An understanding of data protection, GDPR and responsible supporter information management.

You do not need to have worked in children’s hospice care before, but you should be motivated by the opportunity to represent a global leader in children’s palliative care. Knowledge of hospice or paediatric palliative care would be helpful, but it is not essential.

About CHAS

At CHAS, we support families during the toughest of times. We have ambitions to reach every family in Scotland who is living with the heart-breaking prognosis that their child is dying, offering care and support that empowers them to make the most of the time they have together.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a supportive and ambitious fundraising team at an important moment for CHAS as we have recently launched our £20 million ‘More Than A Hospice’ appeal which will once again transform children’s palliative care in Scotland and set a new global standard.

In this role, you will help supporters feel closer to CHAS’s work, understand the impact of their giving, and see how their generosity can help children and families across Scotland. You will have the chance to shape and grow mid-level giving, work alongside colleagues across the charity, and contribute to a strong pipeline of philanthropic support for the future.

We offer:

  • Flexible working: Our teams work flexibly and in a hybrid way, with time split between home and CHAS locations in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Balloch and Kinross. We are happy to discuss working arrangements that work for you.
  • Development opportunities: You will gain exposure to a variety of fundraising activity, including donor stewardship, prospect development, events, proposals and major giving.
  • Professional growth: You will work as part of a high-performing and supportive team where you will be encouraged to develop your skills, confidence and experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits: CHAS offers generous annual leave and pension, incremental salary progression, access to Blue Light discounts, and health and wellbeing support.
