You will design and deliver new face to face and online fun activities. You will work closely with operational service teams providing them with fun resources and support existing fun initiatives, such as our annual Participatory Funding Programme and celebration events. You will also provide practical help and encouragement to enable people we support to create and run their own fun activities groups and events.
We want the people we support to have the opportunity to experience new and exciting activities, therefore identifying and developing partnerships with local and national organisations / agencies who can offer these things will also be an important part of your role.

Due to growth within our Property team, we are recruiting for a Property Maintenance Supervisor to lead our internal maintenance field team helping ensure our properties are safe, well maintained and ready for the people we support.
Our Property team is responsible for the management of a portfolio of over 550 properties varying in size throughout Glasgow. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of Maintenance Technicians, Painters and Clearance and Maintenance Workers, and the post holder will scope and plan works from void properties and review works for tenanted properties.

Tiree Community Development Trust (known as “Urras Thiriodh”) are seeking a suitably experienced and skilled candidate to play a key role in development of commercial trading activity and income generation, in the beautiful and vibrant Inner Hebridean island of Tiree.
The newly created role is based within our Projects and Services Team, and will take on a lead oversight of existing commercial trading activity within our company group, as well as playing a key role in delivery of work to develop new income streams via trading activity, to support the future funding of the Trust, it’s development work and community services. The role has a dual focus around operational delivery and improvement, and project development and delivery to fund and deliver new assets and activities. Existing trading activities include a community filling station, leased premises for local businesses and delivery of useful assessment services and certifications such as EPCs. There is also an expectation that this role will support the current development of community housing, and the eventual administration of that housing for affordable let to local residents.

The Tannahill Centre is a community facility located at the heart of Ferguslie Park. As well as being the home of a number of essential services and amenities, the centre also delivers a wide range of community and personal development opportunities with the aim of ensuring Ferguslie Park reaches its full potential.
Main purpose
To recruit, support and work with young people in an empowering way so they can participate in volunteering and active citizenship activities that increase their skills, knowledge and confidence.
The Youth Development Officer will support young people both in groups and on a one-to-one basis, enabling them to develop personal development plans and participate in experiential learning and accredited opportunities.
The role will lead and coordinate youth work provision and school holiday provision within the Tannahill Centre, managing youth work staff and volunteers, developing new opportunities for young people and strengthening partnerships that support positive youth development.
Working alongside the Community Development Manager, the postholder will also identify funding opportunities and develop partnerships to grow youth work provision with the aim of expanding the service to a six-day-per-week youth work programme and increasing opportunities for young people across Ferguslie Park

About the Role:
The Diploma in Integrative Counselling is 2-year course, credit rated at SCQF level 10 by the University of the West of Scotland, and validation from COSCA. Murray’s Initiative is one of the founding COSCA members and adheres to the COSCA ethical framework for good practice in counselling, psychotherapy and counselling skills. The course requires lead tutors who are accredited by COSCA to Diploma level or committed to work towards accreditation. Tutors should be experienced Counsellors who are accredited with an appropriate professional body, or working towards accreditation (e.g.,COSCA/BACP/UKCP).
The Lead Course Tutor will have responsibility for two Diploma Courses, leading on one weekly class and one weekend class. The Lead Course Tutor will be expected to contribute to a Murray’s Initiative CPD calendar, writing and delivering on content agreed with the Head of Diploma and Training. The Lead Course Tutor will support the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of the Diploma in Integrative Counselling.
The Lead Tutor will report to the Head of Diploma and Training.
This post requires membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG)
Scheme for protected adults. Successful applicants will be required to join the PVG Scheme.
Maternity cover posts are a great opportunity to join CAPS’ Children and Young People’s small friendly team to provide individual advocacy to children and young people who are going through the Children’s Hearings system. CAPS is the main provider of advocacy for this issue to children and young people aged 5-18 in East Lothian and Midlothian. CAPS is also the alternate provider for this work in Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders, so travel to work in these areas will also be expected.
The focus of the work is the provision of independent advocacy to support children and young people to express their views and wishes when going through the Children’s Hearings process. Experience of working with children and young people is required as well as proven skills in communicating with them. Advocacy training will be provided.
This post will be subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for regulated work with children.
There will be a 3-month probationary period attached to this post. Face-to-face work with children and young people is the focus of the role but some home working is also possible with the agreement of your line manager.
This post is fixed term for 12 months initially to cover maternity leave however may continue thereafter subject to expansion of the CAPS’ Children’s team.
