U-evolve and The Junction are delighted to be recruiting for two exciting new roles as part of a partnership project providing dedicated mental health and wellbeing support for Ukrainian young people aged 12–21 living in Edinburgh.
Together, our organisations bring over 30 years of experience supporting young people's mental health across the city. Through this new programme, we will deliver accessible, trauma-informed and culturally responsive support that helps Ukrainian young people build resilience, improve their mental health and wellbeing, strengthen social connections and access the support they need.
Working closely with Ukrainian communities, local organisations and young people themselves, this project will combine individual and group wellbeing support with community engagement and service development to ensure support is shaped by the voices and experiences of the young people it serves.
This exciting new role will lead on building relationships with Ukrainian communities, partner organisations and local services across Edinburgh to ensure the programme reaches those who need it most.
Working alongside the Mental Health Support Worker and colleagues from both U-evolve and The Junction, you will engage with young people, families and community organisations, helping to co-design activities and develop a programme that reflects the needs, strengths and aspirations of Ukrainian young people.
You will be fluent in Ukrainian and have lived experience or a strong understanding of Ukrainian culture and community needs. You'll bring experience of working with young people, developing community-based projects and building meaningful partnerships that improve outcomes for young people.

For both roles, fluency in Ukrainian and lived experience or a strong understanding of Ukrainian culture and community needs is essential.

We are looking for a part-time Project Coordinator for to join our team in Glasgow two days per week. The post holder will be responsible for day-to-day delivery of our Creative Social Action Project reaching out to and engaging refugees and individuals seeking safety in our activities. This is a leading role for our exciting new project facilitating and enabling communities to lead their own social change contributing their skills, cultural knowledge, and stories that matter to Scotland's public life.
The role includes setting up the infrastructure of the project, outreach and participant recruitment, facilitating meetings and conversations about issues affecting them, organising training with specialist trainers and supporting participant to develop a social action project and creative outputs, collaboration with cultural institution partners, developing exhibitions, and evaluation.
The Project Coordinator will join our team two days per week from September/October 2026 and be based in our Glasgow office.

About the Role:
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for homeless people within your service. You will manage and lead a team delivering quality housing support/accommodation and housing management service and to support people experiencing homelessness to build their skills and confidence to sustain their own tenancy. In Oban there are 2 services, Shore Street & Solas, and as such transitional work between the 2 services is required. This role is 35 hours per week and will be Monday-Friday.

Creating Hope Together
Creating Hope Together is Scotland's suicide prevention strategy and action plan (2022–2032), published by the Scottish Government and COSLA. Its vision is to reduce the number of suicide deaths in Scotland while tackling the inequalities that contribute to suicide, so that any child, young person or adult who has thoughts of taking their own life, or who is affected by suicide, gets the help they need and feels a sense of hope.
All of the work is delivered in line with the strategy's guiding principles: putting inequalities and diversity first; co-developing our work with people with lived and living experience; embedding Time, Space, Compassion; keeping the voices of children and young people central; connecting people across sectors to learn together; reducing the stigma of suicide; and ensuring our work is evidence-informed.
The role
This is a new role, hosted by Change Mental Health on behalf of Suicide Prevention Scotland, created to support delivery of Outcome 3 of Creating Hope Together: that everyone affected by suicide is able to access high quality, compassionate, appropriate and timely support.
The postholder will work alongside colleagues in the delivery collective - primarily the Time Space Compassion (TSC) Lead and the Children and Young People (CYP) Lead - to support delivery of a range of actions across the Delivery Plan. In practice this means helping partners in community, primary care, unscheduled care and mental health settings to put person-centred, compassionate approaches into everyday practice; growing the reach of Time, Space, Compassion across Scotland; and strengthening support for children and young people at higher risk of suicide.
The role focuses on enabling practical change in real-world settings through strong partnerships, effective communication, and the thoughtful use of learning and evidence to support continuous improvement. It sits within a small, collaborative team and works across a wide network of national and local partners, including NHS Boards, local authorities, third sector organisations, the Lived and Living Experience Panel (LLEP) and the Youth Advisory Group (YAG).

As a Support Worker working with East Dunbartonshire Council as part of our Kirkintilloch service, you’ll work in the community to provide a wide range of flexible outreach support to individuals to encourage independence to maintain and sustain a tenancy and adapt to community life.

Compassionate Distress Response Service
Glasgow Association for Mental Health is one of the principal providers of community mental health services in Greater Glasgow. We are commissioned by Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership to deliver a Compassionate Distress
Response Service (CDRS) for people in distress who do not require a medical or clinical intervention. We would like to recruit for our Out of Hours Pathway for Emergency Services, First Responders, the Mental Health Assessment Units etc.
The OOHs service operates 7 days a week Monday through to Sunday 5pm -2am. The service operates from our GAMH Head Office – St Andrews by the Green, 33 Turnbull Street, Glasgow.
