We are a registered Scottish charity, a national membership organisation for disabled people, and the umbrella body for the Scottish Access Panel Network. We work to make life more accessible, equal and inclusive for disabled people across Scotland.
Our new Board members will have the skills and knowledge needed to help DES meet our strategic aims. Members of our Board work closely with each other to provide us with important governance and contribute to our overall strategy. They help ensure we meet our objectives and primary aims as a charitable organisation.

About the Role
Strathcarron Hospice has an exciting opportunity for a motivated, professional and proactive Trusts, Grants & Philanthropy Development Lead to join our dedicated Fundraising Team. This role carries lead responsibility for Trust and Grant income (restricted and unrestricted) and for developing philanthropic giving, ensuring the long-term sustainability of our specialist palliative care services.
You will also support the development of our Legacy Giving programme, helping to raise awareness of gifts in wills and stewarding relationships with supporters who choose to remember Strathcarron Hospice in this special way.
As a key contributor to our voluntary income — over £5 million annually — you will play a vital role in securing the funding that enables us to provide compassionate care and support to patients and families across our communities.
Working closely with the Fundraising Manager and senior colleagues across the Hospice, you will translate organisational priorities into compelling, fundable propositions. You will be an excellent communicator, able to build strong relationships with funders, philanthropists and internal stakeholders, and confident in representing Strathcarron Hospice with professionalism and warmth.

This is a new women-only services role focused on supported accommodation across two buildings, working with vulnerable women.
Birken Tree House and Upper Gilmour place is a long term supported accommodation for women. The Role
The postholder will provide support to the President in the conduct of official duties and ensuring the smooth and professional operation of the President’s Private Office. You will manage the President’s diary, co-ordinate the President’s national and international travel, and act as the first point of contact for enquiries and visitors.
While the postholder will work closely with and take day‑to‑day instruction from the President, formal managerial oversight is exercised by the Chief Executive Officer, in accordance with the College’s governance arrangements.

Flexible Working Considerations: We would consider Job Share applications but please contact us in advance so we have time to consider the proposed structure for covering the work. Join FSEM as a Moving Medicine Patients Project Coordinator, supporting delivery of national programmes that help people with long-term health conditions become more active. This varied role involves coordinating projects, working with partners across healthcare and community sectors, and supporting events, communications, and evaluation. You’ll play a key part in reducing health inequalities and embedding physical activity into everyday care within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
CashBack Connections supports young people (aged 10-16) across deprived areas of Lanarkshire who are at risk of involvement in antisocial behaviour/offending by providing one-to-one and group befriending/mentoring opportunities. The project aims to guide young people away from negative influences and towards positive pathways of their choosing, while also supporting families facing challenges such as poverty, poor mental health, or substance misuse.
Young people will take part in activities that interest them, helping them to gain new experiences, develop skills, build confidence, and (importantly) have fun. Alongside developing trusting relationships with volunteers and peers, the project will reduce isolation, improve wellbeing, and strengthen community connections. Where appropriate, families will also be offered support to address barriers affecting a young person’s progress.
With the delivery of the project about to begin, COVEY is now seeking compassionate, motivated and engaging Group Facilitators to support the delivery of the project.
Group Facilitators will play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality group activities for young people. Working under the guidance and supervision of the CashBack Connections Coordinator, they will help create safe, welcoming and inclusive spaces where young people feel supported, heard and encouraged to engage positively.
Successful candidates will work closely with Service Managers, Family Support Workers, Volunteers and Coordinators to ensure safe, effective and high-quality delivery that aims to reduce the risk of antisocial behaviour/offending, helping young people to realise their potential and move towards education/training or employment.
A key part of the role will involve supporting volunteers, maintaining strong safeguarding practice and ensuring all activity is impactful and aligned with COVEY’s values. For young people with more complex or intersecting needs, the Facilitator will work with the Coordinator to refer into COVEY’s Family Support team who will deliver integrated, whole-family interventions. This will include providing targeted support during periods of heightened risk, or early intervention to prevent escalation to crisis.

Breakdown of Hours
2 hours to facilitate the group to around 10 young people.
1 hour to assist with pick up and drop offs for the young people to remove barriers for attending the group.
2 hours dedicated to recording notes and session reports, planning and preparing for the weekly groups and any other task that the Coordinator may need assistance with.

The Cottage Family Centre was established in 1987. The focus of the work at the Centre is to provide a range of support to those families and individuals within family units who are vulnerable to social exclusion as a result of factors such as poverty, unemployment, poor housing, relationship breakdown, drug and alcohol problems and health related issues.
The range of services that the Cottage provides includes a therapeutic service for children and young people.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced therapist competent to work with children and young people. The successful candidate must be a qualified Play Therapist, Art Therapist or Counsellor qualified to work with children and young people.
You will need to be self-motivated, have the ability to work independently with a positive and flexible approach and demonstrate a sound understanding of social issues that affect children, young people and families.
