We are looking for a new Chief Executive Officer who will bring fresh thinking, energy and strong leadership to support Lomond and Argyll Advocacy Service (LAAS) as we continue to develop and build on what we already do well.
The Chief Executive Officer will provide clear, visible and inspiring leadership to Lomond and Argyll Advocacy Services (LAAS). Working closely with the Board, leadership team and other colleagues to deliver our vision of ensuring that people’s voices are heard and their rights are protected. The CEO will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of LAAS. They will ensure the effective use of resources (financial and human) and compliance with legal, contractual and regulatory requirements.
The role
The role is pivotal to the development, growth and sustainability of LAAS along with ensuring the quality of the advocacy delivered . The post requires someone with strategic and operational skills, who is driven by their values and who places high quality independent advocacy services, alongside the wellbeing of their team

The CEO will ensure that effective and robust systems are in place to enable LAAS to deliver a high quality independent advocacy service and demonstrate the impact of this on the lives of the people we support. Main Duties and Responsibilities
We’re looking for a passionate, customer‑focused manager to join Barrhead Housing as our Customer Services Manager. This is an important role within our Customer Services team - supporting how we deliver services and ensuring our customers have a positive experience every day.
As part of our Leadership team, you’ll lead our Customer Services Officers and sheltered housing service, working closely with the Director of Customer Services to deliver day‑to‑day housing services and continually improve how we support our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership - Leading across functions in driving advanced autism practice, a learning culture and reflective practice.
Delivery and Impact - Develop and embed internally innovation in autism practice in particular in Voice and Participation and new models of care and support which are recognised and appreciated by the people we support, regulators and other stakeholders.
Compliance and Control - Work with the Chief Executive, ELT and Board members to ensure effective governance and accountability across the Directorate.

Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre (LRCC); established in 2004, is an independent charity with the objective of relieving the distress and improving the welfare of women and girls who, at any time in their lives, have been subjected to any form of sexual violence. LRCC is a member of the Scottish Rape Crisis Alliance; and we work collaboratively with rape crisis centres across Scotland and specialist organisations in this sector as part of the national movement to eradicate male violence against women.
Supporting around 600 survivors every year and engaging with thousands of people in Lanarkshire in achieving our objectives, Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre is the lead specialist agency in this field and is highly regarded and trusted by statutory organisations, local third sector partners and most importantly the women and girls we support.
