Founded in 1845, ScotWays (The Scottish Rights of Way and Access Society) is the independent charity which upholds and promotes public access rights in Scotland. We are widely recognised as experts in the law and practice of access and advise on access problems, provide information and training, and maintain a vast database about routes in Scotland. Access Officer

ScotWays (The Scottish Rights of Way & Access Society) is looking for an Access Officer to join our small team answering enquiries about Rights of Way and other access issues from professionals and the general public. We're looking for someone who has sound IT skills, loves maps, managing data, carrying out research, finding solutions to queries and providing great customer service. Flexibility, the ability to work on own initiative and excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.

Interest in the outdoors and basic knowledge and understanding of the law relating to public access in Scotland is desirable.
