Celtic FC Foundation is looking to recruit an Events & Supporter Fundraising Executive. Reporting to the Events
and Supporter Fundraising Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination
of the fundraising events/initiatives and supporter fundraising portfolio. This will include meeting income
generation targets, the identification and development of new opportunities and the maintenance and extension of
existing support.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Promote the ethos and aims of Celtic FC Foundation to partners, supporters and other
contacts.
- Co-ordinate the fundraising events/initiatives and supporter fundraising
portfolio.
- Research and develop ideas for the fundraising events/initiatives and supporter fundraising
calendar to increase charity income.
- Source and secure event and initiative sales.
- Assist with
the delivery of other fundraising initiatives such as season ticket renewals and online auctions.
- Attend
fundraising events as directed and provide support to colleagues.
- Liaise with the Finance and
Administration teams to ensure accurate input to CRM/monitoring and evaluation system(s) and timely provision of
subsequent reports and analysis.
- Provide an exceptional standard of care to supporters and donors, with
regular communication pre, during and post events/initiatives.
- Liaise with and provide support to
various event fundraising committees and supporters' events.
- Record and monitor fundraising income
and expenditure.
- Lead on and assist with fundraising events as directed by Line Manager.
- Manage
copy-writing for PR/Editorial in relation to the fundraising events/initiative and supporter fundraising
portfolio.
- Manage provision of relevant information and input to Multimedia for social media
purposes.
- Provide cover for website and social media channels from an Events & Supporter Fundraising
perspective, in the absence of Multimedia Executive.
- Lead on health and safety and risk assessment
requirements for all Foundation income generation events and initiatives.
- Build and maintain
relationships and provide assistance to groups of supporters undertaking third party or their own fundraising
activities.
Skills and Experience required:
Applicants should possess a minimum of three years of demonstrable experience in fundraising or sales, along with a
proven track record in coordinating events and initiatives, and engaging with the public or working in
client-facing roles.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Celtic FC football club and its charitable roots. They
should exhibit exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong
persuasion, negotiation, and influencing abilities. Comfort with networking, along with excellent organisational
and administrative skills, is essential.
Candidates must also have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office or XP software applications and should hold a full
UK driving licence.
