We are seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead WorkingRite as a strong figurehead for the charity, providing leadership for the support of young people, placement employers, WR employees and volunteers.
The successful applicant will also be a positive ambassador to Central and Local Government and Funders, working on behalf of the Board of Trustees to develop and deliver the business plan and business strategy, ensuring the ongoing sustainability, growth and success of WorkingRite.
This post will be hybrid with base in Glasgow Office and is full time (37.5 hours) and permanent.

Become part of Rite to Work – a new community project for young people.
Rite to Work provides support and training for small groups of S4 pupils (from two local secondary schools) to help them become ready for a job, apprenticeship or college course when they leave.
The successful candidate will support the Lead Coach to deliver this training programme throughout the 2022/23 school year.

WorkingRite is an employability charity for young people with mentoring at its heart. This role will be a key element in our ability to demonstrate the impact of our work across Scotland. Our new Data Impact & IT Lead will take organisation wide responsibility for WorkingRite’s CRM database evaluation and ongoing management, improvement of impact evidence & co-ordination of the charity’s IT needs with existing suppliers – Based remotely, with some travel to WorkingRite project areas, it will extend our ability to maximise impactful data collection which demonstrates our impact on young people through all stages of WorkingRite’s training programme.
Your job will be to evaluate and rebuild our current CRM Database system (Salesforce), liaise with The Senior Leadership Team and front-line project delivery staff to make positive changes to our data collection and impact reporting mechanisms, and take responsibility for the organisation’s IT use and ongoing needs.
We require a Data Impact & IT Lead who can:
· Use extensive knowledge of Salesforce to properly evaluate our current data collection and reporting
· Use findings of this evaluation, alongside technical skill, to make changes to the system to benefit the charity
· Act as a natural connector of information and need
· Create internal systems to co-ordinate WorkingRite’s IT needs and use
· Provide high level specialised support to SLT in all aspects of data and IT management

WorkingRite is an employability charity for young people with mentoring at its heart. This role will launch a new development – On Your Side Mentoring – initially in Glasgow and then across our projects nationwide. It will extend our ability to provide mentoring support for our young people in the years following their successful progression from our core work-based training programme. Your job will be to build a new service, pilot it in Glasgow (year 1) before developing it to roll out across other project areas (years 2 and 3).
We require a Mentoring Project Manager who can:

WorkingRite delivers a unique work-based learning and mentored youth employment programme across Scotland, supporting young people through the crucial transition from adolescence to adulthood by equipping them with the skills, experience and confidence to secure and maintain a job. We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to prove themselves in the workplace, regardless of their age, inexperience or qualifications.
Our programme, delivered nationally in partnership with locally based youth and community anchor organisations, is the practical pathway to a job or apprenticeship. Lasting an average of 16 weeks, our trainees learn on the job, alongside a mentor chosen from the workforce of that business to pass on what they know. The programme is a relationship-based model of learning. Quite simply designed to inspire young people to succeed: after all… everyone remembers their first boss.
After a period of expansion, the current strategy is to further develop the programme in key geographical areas, build on our partnership model and focus on the ‘hardest to reach’ young people.
