Supporting children, parents and families in Scotland Families, in all their shapes and sizes, are the foundation of our society and our future. Can you help us achieve our vision: ‘a Scotland where all parents and families are valued and supported to give children the best possible start in life’? This is an exciting opportunity to join a small yet powerful charity dedicated to influencing policy and practice for parents, children, and families.

Parenting across Scotland (PAS) is seeking two new Trustees, including a new Chair, to join our supportive and dedicated Board.

PAS is an important influencer in supporting and improving the lives of children and families. A small organisation, our reach is considerable because of our membership and partnerships with other organisations working with and for all those in a parenting role. Since forming in 2004, we have had considerable success in promoting the voices of parents and caregivers in order to shape national policy.

If you feel enthusiastic about our vision and think you could help us to develop our plans for the future, please consider applying for one of our Trustee roles. For the Chair position, we’re looking for someone with previous governance experience. For the Member of the Board of Trustees role, we are particularly interested in those with experience and skills in:

• Finance and charity accounting

• Charity law

• HR.

PAS is committed to diversity and inclusion within all aspects of its work, including Board membership. We aim to create a culture where everyone is valued, respected and able to participate.
