We provide information and support, refuge accommodation, outreach and follow-on support to women, children and young people living with, or who have lived with, domestic abuse. We also provide Children & Young People's Services, awareness raising and training. Office opening times: Mon-Thurs 9am-4pm; Fri 9am-1pm.
Do you have experience of working with vulnerable women? Are you passionate with the energy to provide high quality support for women living in refuge who have experienced or are experiencing domestic abuse? Are you able to demonstrate a flexible, practical and positive approach to working with children and young people? Do you have an understanding and awareness of domestic abuse and a reflective, sensitive, non-judgmental approach? Can you work in a way that promotes equality and empowerment? If so we would like to hear from you.
This post requires a minimum SVQ Level III in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
