Overview

Inverclyde Association for Mental Health (IAMH) is an independent charity registered in Scotland. Since it was established in 1970, the charity has grown and developed into one of the main providers of community based support services within Inverclyde. The work of the organisation is focussed on promoting the mental health and wellbeing of people and their communities and providing opportunities for people with enduring mental health issues to live as independently as possible either in a residential setting or within their own home.

As part of the organisation's commitment to supporting people with their progression and recovery, IAMH has been operating In-work Enterprises Ltd, a social enterprise delivering therapeutic and work experience opportunities from its base at the Broomhill Gardens & Community Hub in Greenock.

The role

We are looking to recruit a new Operations Manager who will provide inspirational vision and leadership through the next stage of growth and impact. Working closely with the Trustee Board, you will:

● Be responsible for the strategic and operational management of IAMH.

● Provide strategic direction and build organisational capability.

● Build and maintain effective strategic partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders.

● Develop income generation strategies.

● Plan and direct the organisation's activities to meet financial targets and standards for financial and trading performance.

● Source external funding opportunities within the public, private and charitable sectors.

● Have the ability to demonstrate high levels of personal credibility and act as an ambassador for the organisation.

We are seeking an ambitious and driven individual with a successful leadership track record within a complex, growing organisation and with a record of achievement in developing and delivering organisational strategy. To be successful in this role you must have excellent knowledge of current Legislation / regulation relevant to services provided by the organisation. You must also have strong commercial awareness along with a proven track record of Finance Management and People Management.

Salary circa £45K, depending on experience
