The overall purpose of the role is:

In this role you will help to ensure that guiding counties are enabled to embed good practice and comply with relevant policies and legislation, across a number of compliance areas. You will also provide professional secretariat support to Girlguiding Scotland’s governance committees.

  • To co-ordinate support for young members who represent us externally
  • To help deliver a comprehensive ongoing plan for membership engagement

  • To co-ordinate our national and local PR media, proactively sourcing relevant opportunities from our local areas
  • To shape and lead our ambassador programme
