The service supplies electric scooters and powered and manual equipment to people with mobility difficulties for use in the shopping malls and around the town centres. We can offer a companion shopping service to anyone who requires a bit more assistance. We can also offer a sighted guide for anyone with a visual impairment. We can provide a long term hire service for manual wheelchairs for up to one month.
Current vacancies
We currently have vacancies for Volunteer Directors within our service.
We are a registered charity working with the community to provide wheelchairs and powered equipment for people with mobility difficulties.
This enables easier access to the main shopping areas in Dunfermline, Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy.
The board normally meet on a quarterly basis, currently online (Teams).
Knowledge of the voluntary sector is desirable.
