Community Engagement & Fundraising Officer

We are looking for an experienced Community Engagement & Fundraising Officer to join our team to promote our organisation and its work by helping to raise awareness of FDAMH, its services and support income generation. Working closely with the Community and Communication team members, you will be involved in community events and fundraising activities within FDAMH and the local area.

The purpose of the role is to ensure that our community is aware of, and benefiting from all of the services that we offer and will maximise income generation by diversifying funding streams that will engage the public and businesses to become supporters of FDAMH.

To be successful in this post you should have a proven track record in engaging with the local community, achieving fundraising targets and securing donations from a diverse range of sources. You’ll also bring lots of energy, be reliable and can confidently use initiative!

We're looking for a creative and skilled Marketing Officer to join our team and play a key role in the growth and development of the charity. You will do this by helping to raise awareness and support income generation. The purpose of the role is to help us deliver communications and marketing activity to meet the organisation’s ambitions and goals.

Senior Service Manager

There’s never been a better time to join FDAMH! With funding secured and a new structure in place we are recruiting an experienced Senior Service Manager to provide both mental health and operational management for our adult services.

The principal purpose of this post is to manage, support and co-ordinate the day-to-day operation of the allocated service areas and provide line management to their direct reports. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team on FDAMH wide matters, ensuring that your Mental Health experience is included in key organisation decisions.

The Senior Service Manager will be a skilled, knowledgeable and experienced individual. You must have substantive previous operational management, mental health experience and excellent communication skills.

Able to demonstrate previous experience of managing and developing teams using innovative systems to achieve challenging goals, you should be positive, supportive, able to work in a collaborative way, and have excellent interpersonal relationship skills.

FDAMH’s Counselling Service are recruiting a qualified counsellor or therapist to join our well established Counselling Service. The successful applicant will provide counselling to young people from the ages of 13-18 and their parents/guardians/caregivers, on an individual basis. This post will be a delivered via a hybrid working model, delivering face to face counselling from FDAMH’s building and remote working (Zoom) to suit the needs of individual clients as required. We are seeking applications from people who are qualified to Diploma level in a Counselling therapeutic discipline, with membership of a professional body (COSCA, BACP, BABCP etc). To apply you must have experience of counselling people ages 13 years old and over and we will accept applications from all counselling modalities, e.g. humanistic, psychodynamic, CBT or integrative approach.

This service is flexible, personalised and adaptive, enabling our clients to improve their mental health and wellbeing, by using a range of validated and evidence-based recovery focused tools and techniques.

Social Spark Project Worker
