The CEDAR Project East Dunbartonshire is based in Kirkintilloch and managed by EDAMH. CEDAR (Children Experiencing Domestic Abuse Recovery) is a concurrent group work programme for children and young people aged 4-16yrs and their mothers who are in recovery from domestic abuse.

About this role of CEDAR Groupwork Co-ordinator

The post holder will co-ordinate and deliver the CEDAR Programme for families who have experienced domestic abuse. This will consist of project development, multi-agency co-ordination, assessing referred children and young people and their mothers to take part in groups, preparing and facilitating groups, training co-facilitators from partner agencies and analysis/evaluation of the programme. You will have an understanding of a gendered analysis of domestic abuse and the impact on children, young people and their mothers.

The post will be based in Kirkintilloch and cover work throughout East Dunbartonshire locality. Access to your own transport and a full driving licence is essential.

We are looking to recruit a Mental Health Support Worker who is enthusiastic and motivated with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing support to people recovering from mental ill health in a community setting. The candidate will have a qualification to SVQ Level 7 in Health and Social Care, or similar SSSC recognised equivalent, as a minimum qualification.
