We have a vacancy for an Administrator (Finance) to be responsible for the day to day administration and finance duties, ensuring the smooth running of a busy and vibrant office.

The post holder will have responsibility for ensuring that all routine office and finance duties are carried out along with more specialised tasks which are crucial to the functioning of the organisation.

Working closely with the Finance and Administration Manager, the post holder will ensure that

finance processes are accurate and that tasks are completed in line with targets and deadlines.

Membership of the PVG scheme will be an essential requirement of the post. A contributory company pension scheme is offered with a 10% employer contribution.

We have a vacancy for Young Ambassadors Coordinator to be responsible for overseeing and supervising Bridges Project’s Young Ambassador Youth Participation programme.

The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure young people feel safe and supported to take part in activities that aim to put them at the centre of power, voice and agency
  • Formalise a youth participation programme of youth-led strategy, influencing and campaigning activities
  • Design, develop and run a programme which empowers the group to have greater control over the decisions that shape their lives

This is a new and exciting position in which the successful candidate will take pride in empowering the Young Ambassadors to achieve wider impact for young people and make systematic and structural changes.

It is essential that candidates have a full, clean driving licence and constant use of a car. Membership of the PVG scheme will be an essential requirement of the post. A contributory company pension scheme is offered with a 10% employer contribution.

We have a vacancy for a Group Support Worker to design, develop and run a social group work programme for young people aged 12-18 across East Lothian.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver a programme of activity which focusses on improving social and life skills
  • Work in collaboration with a wide range of partners to offer new and exciting group opportunities
  • Provide support which enables young people to engage with their local communities and engage in their own particular areas of interest

This is an exciting position in which the successful candidate will take pride in developing a portfolio of groups; working with new and existing partner agencies to offer sessions and workshops which will enhance young peoples’ experience and development.

We have a vacancy for an Independent Living Support Worker to provide holistic, bespoke and person-centred one-to-one and group support to young people aged 15-25 in East Lothian.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support people to thrive within the home environment
  • Prevent people from losing their home
  • Help people into a home

This is an exciting position in which the successful candidate will take pride in delivering a professional homemaker service to young tenants and prospective young tenants in East Lothian on an outreach and centre basis.

For nearly 40 years, we have helped young people develop their life skills, improve their educational attainment and move into employment or further education.

We have a vacancy for an Employability Support Worker (Schools) to deliver a yearling employability skills programme to young people in S4 at schools throughout East Lothian who have been identified as leaving school with no positive destination in place.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support young people to gain employability skills, life skills and accreditation; helping them in to work, apprenticeships, further education and vocational training
  • Deliver tailored support packages to young people enabling them to create and realise their career pathways and progress in to post school opportunities
  • Work in collaboration with 6 high schools in East Lothian to develop the service

This is an exciting position in which the successful candidate will take pride in developing a programme of delivery which will provide young people with clear pathways to positive destinations.
