Our organisation: The Arkbound Foundation is a literature and publishing charity, which seeks to support people from the most disadvantaged and under-represented backgrounds to have their voices heard through writing. As well as publishing books, we deliver 1-1 mentoring programmes that pair up aspiring writers with experienced authors, alongside workshops. Recognising those we work with often experience multiple overlapping disadvantages, our work seeks to address various issues, as well as crossing over into the environment.

The role: An opportunity has now arisen for a dedicated person, passionate about inclusive narratives and making a lasting positive difference, to join the charity. Ideally we would like someone with experience of publishing and project management, although we are open to considering others with the necessary skill sets. As a small charity with a sociocratic governance structure, we also welcome those who are capable of using their own initiative and to multi-task, whilst being mindful of deadlines.
