Camphill School Aberdeen is seeking an experienced and compassionate House Co-ordinator to lead one of our residential houses and support children and young people with additional support needs to live, learn and flourish within a caring community.

Reporting to the Head of Care, you will provide leadership and oversight of a residential house, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, wellbeing and staff performance. You will create a warm, supportive environment where children and young people can develop independence, achieve their potential and enjoy meaningful relationships and experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting a multidisciplinary residential team.
  • Managing staff rotas, supervision, appraisals and training.
  • Ensuring compliance with Care Inspectorate, SSSC and safeguarding requirements.
  • Overseeing care planning, record keeping, medication management and house administration.
  • Working closely with families, social workers, therapists, education staff and other professionals.
  • Promoting social pedagogical practice and person-centred care

You will have:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory or management role supporting children and/or adults with additional support needs.
  • A degree-level qualification in Social Pedagogy, Education, Social Care or equivalent. Full SSSC registration and PVG membership.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, Care Inspectorate standards and relevant legislation.
  • A full driving licence and good IT skills
