Role
Are you an experienced fundraiser who enjoys building relationships, spotting new opportunities and writing compelling funding proposals?
Clan Childlaw is looking for a confident and motivated Fundraising Manager to join our team on a one-year maternity cover contract. Working closely with our Senior Leadership Team, you’ll play a key role in securing the funding that enables us to champion the rights of children and young people across Scotland. You’ll lead on developing high-quality grant applications, managing our existing trusts and foundations pipeline, researching new funding opportunities and building strong relationships with funders. You’ll also contribute to public-sector bids, impact reporting, CRM management and wider fundraising strategy.
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of securing grants and developing successful funding proposals, ideally including significant multi-year awards and public-sector bids. You’ll be a confident communicator and relationship-builder, comfortable working with data and supporting others to achieve shared goals.

EMMS International is Scotland’s longest-serving international healthcare charity, working with partners across India, Malawi, Nepal, Rwanda, Scotland and Zambia to improve access to healthcare and strengthen health systems.
Following a recent organisational review and restructure, and the appointment of a new Director of Fundraising, EMMS is entering an ambitious period of income growth. The charity currently generates around £400,000 per year through grants, individual giving, campaigns and appeals, with significant potential to grow this further.
Abeer Macintyre Consultancy is now recruiting a Fundraising Manager to join EMMS and help grow its individual giving and community fundraising activity.
Working closely with the Director of Fundraising and Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy, you will:
- grow individual giving, appeals and regular giving
- develop community and challenge-event fundraising
- build strong relationships with supporters, groups and fundraisers
- deliver excellent supporter stewardship
- manage and analyse supporter data through Raiser’s Edge NXT
- identify new opportunities to increase engagement and income
- support campaigns, events and wider fundraising activity.
You will have at least two years’ charity fundraising experience, with a strong track record of coordinating fundraising activity and generating income. You will also bring strong relationship-building, communication, organisational and analytical skills.
EMMS offers flexible and home working, 25–30 days’ annual leave, an 8% employer pension contribution, life assurance and other benefits. Compressed hours or a four-day working week may also be considered.
The successful candidate must live in Scotland and attend EMMS’s Edinburgh office for a minimum of one day per week.

We are looking for an experienced fractional Finance Director to provide senior financial leadership for a values-led charity. This is a flexible, high-impact role for someone who can combine strategic financial judgement with practical oversight of day-to-day finance, helping trustees and senior leaders make confident, well-informed decisions.
This is an executive part-time role working closely with the Chief Executive, Board and leadership team to ensure the organisation remains financially sustainable, compliant and able to deliver its mission effectively.
The successful candidate will bring sound judgement, technical expertise and the ability to translate financial information into clear, practical insight for decision-making. They will support budget setting, forecasting, risk management, audit preparation, statutory reporting and financial policy development, with responsibility for charity finance in Scotland, including restricted and unrestricted funds, reserves, grant reporting, funder requirements, Scottish charity law and OSCR compliance.
This role is ideal for a qualified finance professional who is values led and enjoys working strategically and collaboratively in a mission-driven Scottish charity environment and who can provide high-quality leadership on a fractional basis.
Terms
Hours, working pattern, day rate and contract length are open to discussion. We anticipate this will be a fractional engagement, suitable for someone available for a regular part-time commitment each month. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements can be considered.

Sacro provide Restorative Justice and one to one Behavioural change programmes to assist young people to address offending behaviour and, where appropriate, to support young people to make amends to address their behaviour by making amends to the person they have harmed.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working directly with young people as part of an existing Youth Justice team. The successful candidate should have experience of working with young people who offend and have knowledge of psychosocial and psychological interventions, Restorative Justice and experience of delivering group work programmes.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work both as part of a team and independently. Experience of multi-disciplinary team working would be an advantage. A commitment to Sacro’s value base is essential.
A valid driving licence is essential for this post
