What is the role?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Anti-Social Behaviour Project Coordinator. 21hpw 1-Years Fixed-Term contract with possible extension. Working hours to be agreed between the following days and hours: Monday - Friday between 8am - 8pm & Saturdays 10am - 4pm.

Salary band: £31,890 - £42,109. Salary on appointment will normally be at the lower salary point, with progression subject to review - in line with VSS progression arrangements. A higher salary placing will only be considered in exceptional circumstances subject to experience demonstrated.

Primary location: Broadside House, 2 Powerhall Road, Edinburgh, EH7 4GB. You will be expected to work throughout Edinburgh, Lothian & Borders locality.

As a member of the Service Delivery team, you will be reporting to the Head of Service Delivery, the Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Project Coordinator is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Victim Support Scotland’s anti-social behaviour service delivery across the organisation.

You will ensure that all ASB-related support is delivered to a high standard, is trauma-informed, victim-centred and rights-based, and is aligned with Victim Support Scotland’s strategic objectives.

You will lead on service development, partnership working, quality assurance, performance management, and monitoring and evaluation for ASB work across VSS.

You will lead the development and delivery of resources, guidance and training to improve support for people impacted by anti-social behaviour, ensuring practical tools are available for landlords, letting agents and other stakeholders in the private rented sector. By improving sector knowledge and pathways to support, the project will help victims feel safer, sustain their tenancy, and recover from harm caused by anti-social behaviour.

You’re comfortable working with data gathering, analysing, and presenting insights that help shape decisions. What you’ll do

This rewarding opportunity in the Fundraising & Engagement Team at Alzheimer Scotland reports into the Fundraising & Engagement Leader (Individuals) and focuses on our community partnerships, fundraisers and donors, as well as managing the end-to-end stewardship of our volunteers.

This role can be based in either of our city offices in Glasgow or Edinburgh with occasional travel to elsewhere in Scotland.

You will play a crucial role in cultivating and nurturing relationships, finding more efficient ways of working, developing our volunteering programme and liaising with colleagues around Alzheimer Scotland to deliver a first-class supporter journey.

What you’ll have

The successful candidate will have experience in supporter journeys, community fundraising, volunteering, a commitment to continuous improvement, a collaborative nature and will also be able to work independently.

Aligned to the charity ethos, you must have a positive attitude towards dementia.

This role is based within the Edinburgh, Lothian and Borders locality reporting to the Locality Manager, the Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Support Worker will provide tailored, one-to-one support to people affected by ASB, helping them to feel safe, heard, informed, and empowered.

The role involves assessing individual needs and risks, developing and reviewing support plans, and coordinating with partner agencies to ensure an effective and joined-up response. Working within the VSS framework, the postholder will uphold victims’ rights, maintain accurate case records, and contribute to the development of peer support opportunities. Where appropriate, the ASB Support Worker will also support and work alongside volunteers to facilitate safe, inclusive group sessions that promote recovery and shared experience.

In addition to delivering 1-1 support this role will support the Anti-Social Behaviour Project Coordinator to build partnerships nationally to establish effective referral pathways and raise awareness of Victim Support Scotland services.

Prostate Scotland is the leading charity dedicated to prostate disease, working across Scotland to inform, support and raise awareness among men, their families, healthcare professionals and the wider public. Based in central Edinburgh, we support men throughout their prostate health journey and work to improve outcomes through education, engagement and community-based activity.

We are seeking a motivated and organised Volunteer Coordinator to lead the development, coordination and delivery of Prostate Scotland’s volunteer programme. The postholder will be responsible for recruiting, training, supporting and engaging a diverse team of volunteers, including those involved in awareness talks and community outreach. Working closely with colleagues, partner organisations and volunteers, you will ensure that volunteers are well supported, effectively deployed and able to make a meaningful contribution to the charity’s mission to raise awareness of prostate health across Scotland.

This exciting role will involve:

• Developing and delivering a robust volunteer framework covering recruitment, induction, training, engagement, recognition and retention.
• Coordinating volunteer activity across a range of roles, including community awareness talks, events and fundraising support.
• Working in partnership with an external organisation to recruit and support partnership volunteers delivering awareness activity across Scotland.
• Ensuring volunteers receive high-quality induction, training and ongoing support to enable them to carry out their roles safely and effectively.
• Matching volunteer skills, experience and interests to organisational needs and community opportunities.
• Supporting and coordinating volunteer-led awareness talks, including allocating volunteers, providing resources and recording activity.
• Building strong, positive relationships with volunteers and partner organisations to foster a sense of inclusion and belonging.
• Monitoring and evaluating volunteer activity and impact, and producing reports and updates for internal use, including the Board.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure volunteering activity supports Prostate Scotland’s strategic aims and public awareness work.

Your strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills will be essential in working with volunteers, partner organisations, colleagues and community stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring volunteers are well supported, motivated and equipped to deliver high-quality awareness activity, and you may represent Prostate Scotland at meetings, events and community awareness sessions.
