Summary
We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our team at Flexible Childcare Services Scotland. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing our financial operations, ensuring the sustainability of our unique childcare model while supporting our mission to create flexibility in early learning and childcare across Scotland, and thus reducing child poverty. This is a hybrid working post shared between home working and our Dundee head office.
This is a part time role, 28 hours per week, with FTE salary of £40,000 = pro rata £32,000.

About the role
As a Children in Scotland Participation and Policy Officer you will have an important role supporting the work of the Participation and Policy Team.
Your role will involve delivering a diverse range of project work (including direct work with children and young people) and contributing to our policy and influencing activity to make improvements in children and young people’s lives. The role will also support the ongoing development of the new SPP Department.
The Participation and Policy Officer will be principally responsible for the following functions:
- The delivery of participation and engagement activity, in line with agreed project plans and our own Principles and Guidelines for the Meaningful Participation and Engagement of Children and Young People
- Supporting the delivery of our policy and influencing activity, including through consultation responses and policy focused events
