We are currently looking to recruit support workers to join our small team within Inclusion Alliance. The role involves supporting people with learning disabilities to be included in the community and lead an ordinary life. Your work would involve helping people to access educational, social, leisure and work or volunteering opportunities in the community.

No experience or formal qualifications are necessary for the role although a caring nature, positive attitude and a sense of fun are important characteristics to have. New staff will receive paid training and undertake shadow shifts with experienced staff members during induction. We want new staff to feel ready and able to work prior to working on their own for the first time.

We have various vacancies available including part time and relief/casual positions in various locations throughout Edinburgh.

• Working hours are based between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday

About The Role

Do you have background in an administrative or leadership role? Do you have a track record of improving processes and providing a great service? Do you enjoy a fast-paced, varied role where you can make a real difference? If so, we would love to hear from you.

You will work alongside, manage and support our small, friendly Hub Support Team. You will oversee our mailbox, admin processes, administrative tasks, the development of the IT systems and provide support and supervision to the team. Responding to a range of enquiries, you will enjoy dealing people both in person and online. You will be a genuine team player and able to juggle the competing demands of day-to-day reactive work alongside more proactive work.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person, who can manage competing priorities, support a team and work to deadlines. The post will involve a requirement to work with sensitive information, with a high degree of discretion.

Tiphereth Camphill in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced and creative Administrator to join our community. Tiphereth provides a range of support services for adults with learning disabilities and autism, with a focus on building meaningful relationships and community.

Within this post you will play a key role in our busy office being the first point of contact, in person, on the phone and by email. You will act as a key interface between our staff, members, parents & carers, other organisations and our larger community. Hospitality and preparation for events plays a large part in the role.

Our ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude coupled with experience of working in a busy office environment.

Most of all you will have a flexible and adaptable personality with a willingness to work as part of a team, and embrace working in a vibrant community setting, that values everyone equally.

The role is varied and includes coordinating and supporting meetings, training, events, and exhibitions as well as general cleaning and facility management, maintaining stock of office essentials.

Primarily based within our Community at Tiphereth, the role may require off site working at times. On occasions evening and weekend work may be required out with normal hours to support Community events.
