Cashback Gateway to Opportunity Wellbeing Coach

Role

Celtic FC Foundation are currently recruiting for a Wellbeing Coach to design and deliver a wide range of wellbeing sessions and workshops, physical activity and multi-sports sessions that provide both one-to-one and group support to CashBack Gateway to Opportunity participants.

The suitable candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, delivering sessions and ensuring a safe, welcoming and non-judgmental environment. The role will require supporting participants with complex needs including poverty and trauma, as such, demonstrable skills and experience of delivery with a trauma informed approach is essential for this role.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Promote Participant Engagement
  • Consultation with participants to ensure their involvement and a person-centred approach to delivery
  • Develop workshop resources that utilise wellbeing approaches and methodologies
  • Design and deliver a wide range of multi-sports and physical activity sessions
  • Design and deliver personal development and wellbeing sessions/workshops
  • Co-deliver certified/accredited topical based workshops
  • Support participant retention
  • Key administrative duties
  • Manage a live caseload of participants, identifying their individual needs and setting actions plans to support them in achieving their progression goals
  • To work alongside the Project Manager, take direction from and support them in the successful
  • delivery of the project
  • To signpost participants to our in-house Trauma Counsellor as relevant
  • To network effectively and develop partnerships with a range of external organisations
  • Carry out Risk Assessments prior to delivering onsite or offsite sessions
  • Ensure all Safeguarding processes are followed and recorded
  • Reporting, monitoring and evaluation by providing accurate written and/or statistical information
  • Co-deliver wellbeing taster sessions and open days in prison/secure settings
  • Ensure all communications with colleagues are professional, appropriate and considerate of individual needs and circumstances
  • Actively build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues across the Club. Ensuring a collaborative approach is always adopted
  • Treat all colleagues with dignity and respect by ensuring that your behaviours and approach during all workplace activity is inclusive of all backgrounds and abilities and welcomes diverse contributions
  • Any other appropriate duties as identified by the Project Manager Note: Management has the right to amend the above
  • Role Summary in consultation with the employee to reflect the changes in or to the job.

Skills and Experience required:

  • At least two years’ demonstrable experience in a similar role, designing, implementing, delivering and evaluating creative coaching sessions and workshops for vulnerable adults
  • Experience of working in a target driven environment and reporting on KPIs
  • Good administrative skills, ensuring attendance registers, registration forms and permissions are recorded accurately
  • Safeguarding experience and experience of working with vulnerable individuals who have experienced trauma
  • Strong people skills, including experience of working with people who have experienced trauma and delivering with a trauma informed approach
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Experienced third sector worker, with the ability and passion to design, implement, deliver and evaluate various creative sessions that engage a range of participants and ensure the business achieves its objectives for the outcomes of each project
  • A strong motivator
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills – both oral and written communication
  • A positive role model who leads by example
  • A strong understanding and working knowledge of the third sector
  • Relevant Sports Coaching Qualifications
  • First Aid Certificate
  • A minimum of three-year’s experience in supporting people with complex needs including poverty and trauma
  • Experience of delivering by using trauma informed practice

Additional requirements:

  • Full current UK driving license
  • A flexible approach to work with the ability to, on occasion, travel and work outside normal working hours
