Role
As Administrator you will support team functions within the new Rae House Residential Service. You will complete all administrative functions to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day administration and finance processes for the service.
The Role
- Undertake all administrative tasks to ensure they are carried out smoothly. This includes tasks such as maintaining records, managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries.
- Financial processes including, invoicing, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all administrative and financial processes adhere to relevant regulations, policies, and standards. This includes data protection laws, financial regulations, and organisational policies.
- This is not your average desk based admin role, our Therapeutic Community rehabs can be fast-paced, agile places to work with a variety of tasks and responsibilities in a busy team

About You
- Previous experience in an admin role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Familiar database and financial systems
- Strong numeric skills with the ability to manage financial processes
- Ability to meet agreed targets, objectives and deadlines
The Service
Our state-of-the-art facility will offer 27 beds for individuals seeking transformative recovery journeys. With a focus on nature and the environment, and with 1.2 acres of land on site, our Recovery through Nature projects will provide a holistic approach to healing. Plus, staff amenities such as onsite bedrooms and a brand-new gym ensure a supportive and enriching work environment. Whilst in a rural location, the staff team will include dedicated Drivers, so please don't let access or transport be a barrier to application.

Murray’s Initiative deliver services over 6 days per week and throughout Glasgow, East Dunbartonshire and East Renfrewshire, helping people make meaningful, positive change in their lives.

About the Role:
The role of the Alcohol Counsellor is to provide a counselling, advice and information service for individuals aged 16 and over with their own problematic alcohol use or to those affected by other people’s problematic alcohol use
The Alcohol Counsellor will report to the Service Manager - Counselling.
This post requires a Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme membership - successful applicants will be required to join the PVG Scheme.

About the Role:
The Group Worker will support our peer-led Harm Reduction Service (U-Turn) benefiting young people 11 – 25 years old to design and deliver youth-led inputs on issue-based topics, with a focus to incorporate harm reduction approaches and address stigma/language around substance use.
The Group Worker will have responsibility for developing our weekly groups for our Peer Educators to take part in training around areas such as leadership, team building, issue-based topics and wellbeing. These groups will provide a safe, trauma-informed space where individuals will be able to feel confident to develop coping skills and resilience.
The service specifically targets some of the most vulnerable young people in areas where Murray’s Initiative currently delivers services, aiming to reduce the harm caused by alcohol and other drugs within their communities.
The Peer Educators will be supported to deliver peer-led inputs to other Young People on issued-based topics, with a focus to incorporate a harm reduction approach as well as a separate element of addressing stigma/language around drug and alcohol use.
The Group Worker will report to the Service Manager – Education & Development.

Participation & Engagement Worker

RecoveryAyr are seeking to recruit a proactive and passionate Participation and Engagement Worker with a specific focus on ensuring the voices of individuals and families are collected and considered as part of ongoing service improvement activities, recognising that there is much to be gained from individuals and families with ‘lived experience’ of recovery. The post holder will also support the implementation of the Charter of Rights for People Affected by Alcohol and Drugs across South Ayrshire.
The post holder will be based with a staff team of lived experience workers, who have wide range of experience providing support for individuals and families affected by alcohol, drugs or involved with justice services.
