MELD is a community-based substance use agency providing recovery services in Midlothian and East Lothian.

We are recruiting people who are committed to providing services for individuals with substance use issues, who can work effectively as part of a dynamic team and in partnership with statutory services. MELD will consider Job-share for full-time roles.

You will be expected to provide advice, information and support to individuals who are experiencing difficulties with substance use and related issues. An appropriate qualification (SVQ level 3 or above) in Health or any of the Social Sciences with at least 1 years’ demonstrable experience of working in a recovery setting with clients who have difficulties with substance use are essential criteria. Successful applicants will have an ability to work in a flexible manner and adhere to a recovery focussed approach to achieve MELD’s aims. A full driving licence and own transport are essential, along with confidence using computer-based case recording systems.
