If so, this is an excellent opportunity to take on a meaningful and rewarding role where your actions will make a difference to people’s lives and to the community. Be part of a vibrant charity that has been supporting and empowering vulnerable adults since 1975.

Recovery Scotland is a charity dedicated to providing a range of recovery focussed services for people affected by addictions. We provide opportunities to help people change their addictive behaviours, engage with recovery communities and fulfil their aspirations.

We are looking to appoint a Project Coordinator to coordinate our Assertive Recovery Outreach Team’s activities in Forth Valley, to engage with hard-to-reach individuals who are affected by problematic substance use and associated mental health problems, and to support and motivate them to engage with treatment services and recovery focussed activities. Furthermore to develop the project, to liaise with various services and to expand our recovery network.

We offer excellent staff benefits including a generous pension contribution, competitive salary, and generous annual leave.

You will be passionate and enthusiastic about recovery. If in recovery, we are looking for you to have had a minimum of three years stability from substance use or addictive behaviours. You will have a recognised professional qualification or training award in social care or health care or community work or counselling or addiction studies to a minimum SVQ level 4 or equivalent, you will have a good understanding of the impact that substance use can have on individuals, families and communities and you will be familiar with what works to promote and sustain recovery.
