Fresh Start is an Edinburgh based charity working to help people make a home for themselves. We provide a variety of services across Edinburgh (supporting over 3,000 households each year) that help people transition from homelessness and prevent people re-entering the homeless system. Fresh Start’s values underpin everything we do: with the people we work for, our staff, our volunteers and all our supporters.


The Admin and Finance Assistant is a vital role within Fresh Start. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all our service users, referrers, supporters and volunteers. Handling all enquiries, this is a varied and diverse role that requires a good knowledge of all Fresh Start services and the ability to react to changing priorities and work closely with all services. The role also supports the Finance Team with basic bank reconciliation, processing of invoices, donation handling, Gift Aid etc.
