MADE4U, a dynamic community organisation rooted in the ML2 area of North Lanarkshire, was established in 2006 through the collaborative efforts and communal compassion of several local churches. MADE4U channels its efforts through community development and wellbeing initiatives, such as community cafes, money advice services, and befriending calls. The charity extends its support to children through active play, holiday hunger clubs, and youth drop-ins, as well as offering employability workshops in the community and local schools.

The role of Fundraising Manager holds a pivotal position within the senior management team, focusing on developing and implementing income generation strategies to ensure the long-term stability of MADE4U. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for implementing essential elements such as CRMs, scoping, processing, and developing a comprehensive Fundraising Strategy across the organisation. Key responsibilities encompass fundraising activities across various streams, including grants and trusts, individual giving, corporate partnerships, and events.
The ideal candidate should possess a background and knowledge of charity fundraising portfolios, demonstrate proficiency in the use of fundraising databases, and have solid experience working with grants and trusts. Effective management of corporate partnerships, sound business judgment, and experience in writing contracts, agreements, and complex applications are essential. Additionally, the candidate should be an excellent communicator and possess a broad understanding of the charity sector.
