  • 35 hours per week. 5/7days rota basis from 9am to 9pm covering an array of shifts: 9-4pm, 10-5pm and 2-9pm over 7 days.

Role

We are looking for enthusiastic people who share our values (Kind, Passionate and Creative) to join our services accommodating and supporting care experienced young people and empowering them to thrive.

The support we provide is always person-centred, trauma-informed and wellbeing focused. As an Intensive Floating Support Worker, you’ll work in the community to provide a wide range of flexible intensive support to our young people to encourage independence to maintain and sustain a tenancy and adapt to community life.

You will already be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council and hold an HNC or SCQF level 6 or 7 in Social Care.

As a Support Worker, you will be required to deliver 1-2-1 support to individuals in their own home, enabling them to develop skills required to live independently, this can cover a variety of areas from assisting with budgeting, finances, keeping on top of day to day household activities to helping individuals to access appropriate supports from other agencies.

You will be required to keep accurate notes regarding support visits carried out and also to complete risk assessments, support plans and reviews for each individual you key work. You will be required to do lone working but you should also be able to work well with others in the team and external agencies.
