Barnardo's have an exciting opportunity to recruit a children and families support worker into their Youth Housing Support Service.
North Lanarkshire Council in partnership with Barnardo's to provide intensive support to young people aged 16-24 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Applicants will have a “can do” attitude and approach and an ability to work on your own as well as part of a team. You must have experience in engaging and developing relationships with family members of all ages.
Essentially you will have experience of delivering housing and family support, knowledge and experience of the benefits system, ability to assess needs and sign post to relevant services as well as providing practical support.
You must be confident in assessments, recordings, monitoring and report writing.
