Role

Working with a remit across Edinburgh’s four localities, the Senior Development Officer will service and support the work of the city’s voluntary sector forums to develop and to engage with other Community Planning Partners.

You will enable participation, represent community and voluntary sector interests and support sector representatives. Two days per week of the job will have a particular focus developing community and voluntary capacity and participation in the Liberton/Gilmerton area of South East Edinburgh.

About You

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, tenacious person with great communication skills who enjoys building relationships with people from a variety of organisations and sectors. You will be passionate about the community and voluntary sector and believe that by working together we can tackle some of the issues contributing to poverty and inequality in Edinburgh.
