The Butterfly Trust is the lead agency providing social support for people affected by Cystic Fibrosis throughout Scotland. We provide a comprehensive and diverse range of outreach services for all ages of people with Cystic Fibrosis and their families across Scotland.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, creative and personable individual to join our team. With an appropriate skillset to add value and who has ambition for continued personal and professional development.
We will provide both in-house and external training to ensure all of our team have appropriate skills and knowledge to fulfil their role to the best of their ability.
The Fundraising & Office Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing our community fundraising programme and managing resources in our Head Office.
The role includes gathering content for our social media platforms, promoting the Trust in the community and engaging with community groups and corporate partners who raise funds to support our work.
The role also includes providing administrative support to our Managing Director.
The successful candidate will have good communication, problem-solving and organisational skills and they will be able to motivate others and work with people at all levels.
Full driving licence and a car is essential.
For this regulated work the successful candidate will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership which will be paid for by the Trust.

Getting Better Together Ltd (GBT) is a community centred health initiative which was established in 2000 with the aim of promoting the health & wellbeing of residents living in North Lanarkshire including the Fortissat Ward, Shotts, Springhill, Dykehead, Stane, Torbothie, Harthill, Eastfield, Salsburgh, Allanton/Hartwood.At the heart of Shotts, GBT's Healthy Living Centre was established twenty-three years ago.

We now have vacancy for a full time (35 Hrs) Cycle Development Officer. The main aim of the role is to oversee and develop the Trackside Bikes at GBT. This programme includes a range of cycling services within our Trackside Bike shop including bike repairs, services, loans, and educational offerings.
Acting as an ambassador for cycling and active travel in North Lanarkshire you will work closely with the staff team, GBT, key local stakeholders and the wider community to promote the benefits of cycling.
Barnardo's Stronger Families offers an exciting opportunity to join an established team who are developing Attachment and Trauma Informed Practice models to support families with children aged 0-13 yrs across Fife. Barnardo's has been established in Fife for over 20 years and the Stronger Families service and support to children and families has been a consistent feature within our services across Fife.
Stronger Families offers intensive support to families (6-10hrs per week), and for 6-9mths working alongside partner agencies to prevent family breakdown. This level of support will hopefully help families to make effective and sustainable change to enable the children to safely remain at home.
Due to the intensive nature of this work your caseload will be around 4 families which will enable you to build good relationships with the children, young people & families and through your support will help them effect meaningful change.
You will have experience of working with children & families and will be required to deliver direct services to families who have a range of complex needs.
Experience of working with children and families and a working knowledge of attachment theories and Trauma Informed Practice would be extremely desirable as would a knowledge of The Promise as the principles are embedded into our service delivery.

Barnardo's are recruiting Senior Practitioner (Project Worker 3) to be involved in the delivery of our Residential Service, to support children and young people in a therapeutic and trauma enhanced approach in a residential child care setting. This position is based in our Residential Home and candidate will be expected to be part of the rota system of working including sleepover and evening shifts.
We are looking for an committed practitioner with experience of working with young people and their families preferably within the context of care experienced. They should be passionate about improving outcomes for young people who are accommodated through child-centred therapeutic approach underpinned by Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy principals.
