Youth Trainer

This is a full time (35hrs per week) role and the successful applicant will have an enthusiasm for inspiring the next generation - ideally with experience of a fitness related subject such as boxing, cycling or mechanics, prior experience in delivering training and support to young people. Full training will be provided!

Context and purpose of the job

RUTS is committed to providing vocational training and other support of the highest quality to young people using innovative solutions.

The purpose of this post is to:

• Take a lead role in the delivery of vocational learning opportunities for young people that use off-road motorcycles /bicycles/boxing as a focus.

Main duties and responsibilities:

The Individual

This is a rewarding but challenging role therefore you need to be enthusiastic and committed to working with young people, supporting them as they deal with a range of issues and helping them to successfully move into positive destinations and achieve better outcomes. We need someone with a “can do” attitude and a willingness to develop their own skills but also the ability to train young people in such skills.
