Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised Volunteer Coordinator to join our team at Four Square!
As our Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in developing our volunteering programme, creating meaningful opportunities for people to get involved and ensuring our volunteers feel welcomed, valued and supported.
Working closely with colleagues across our services, you’ll recruit, onboard and support volunteers, build relationships with local businesses and community groups, and coordinate corporate volunteering opportunities.
We’re looking for someone who is approachable, proactive and great at building relationships. You’ll have experience in volunteer coordination or a similar community-focused role, excellent organisational skills and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting people.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape our volunteering programme and make a real difference to the people and communities we support.

Four Square is looking for a Waking Night Practitioner to join our team, providing trauma-informed, person-centred support to people experiencing homelessness.
We’re looking for compassionate, resilient individuals who are confident working independently during overnight shifts while contributing to a supportive wider team. You’ll have excellent communication skills, the ability to respond calmly to challenging situations and a commitment to creating a safe, welcoming environment for the people we support.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing reassurance, practical assistance and emotional support to people when they need it most.
Please note: Due to the nature of this role, applications are invited from women only. This post is exempt under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
Working pattern: This role operates on a four-week rolling rota, with shifts from 9.45pm to 7.45am, including alternate weekends.
• Weeks 1 and 3: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
• Weeks 2 and 4: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
All shifts are 10 hours, averaging 35 hours per week over the four-week rota.
