A national role with the opportunity to shape health and safety across Cornerstone.
We have a great opportunity for an experienced health and safety professional to influence practice at a national level.
Working with colleagues across our organisation you'll strengthen governance, improve consistency and develop practical approaches to managing risk.
Based at our Glasgow, Dundee or Aberdeen office, this role offers hybrid working alongside regular travel across our services and locations. You'll work closely with teams across Cornerstone, building relationships and providing visible, practical health and safety leadership.
About the role
At Cornerstone, our purpose is to enable the people we support to live valued lives in their communities.
As our Health and Safety Lead, you'll play a key role in ensuring our approach to health and safety supports this purpose while meeting our legal and regulatory responsibilities.
You'll be Cornerstone’s competent person for health and safety, helping colleagues understand legal requirements, manage risk effectively and embed a positive, proportionate safety culture.
This is a broad and influential role, combining strategic oversight with practical support. You'll help shape and continuously improve Cornerstone’s health and safety framework, providing assurance that our policies, systems and practices are effective, proportionate and compliant.
You'll help translate legislation and good practice into approaches that work in the context of our services and play an important role in using data, audit findings and incident learning to identify risks and drive meaningful improvement.
