Role
Yoker Community Campus has been working with its community since 2005. A key objective of the organisation is to provide or support services that keep those most at risk of isolation connected with their communities, and able to participate in ordinary activities taking place in ordinary places.
The main purpose of the post is to maintain the financial and administrative systems that support the smooth running of the Campus. Duties include bookkeeping, reception, and room booking. Experience of using Xero would be useful.

Yoker Resource Centre aims to assist individuals that are elderly or have mild physical disability to maintain the ability to stay in their own homes. Based in Yoker Community Campus, the Community Engagement Worker will engage with others to address problems of social exclusion and isolation. In doing so you will be enabling service users to participate in a wide range of existing community social, recreational, and educational activities. You will also liaise with established partner agencies and services that will support and improve their quality of life and therefore maintain their ability to live independently.
Applicants are invited from those who hold a caring and genuine commitment to understanding and working closely with people who are elderly or suffer mild disability. The post holder will require ability to communicate at all levels. The post demands ability to work as part of a team with other staff and voluntary workers, as well as the ability to promote and develop the needs for an included lifestyle for the service users of the service.
Experience and working with support agencies would be an advantage as would an understanding of the emotional, physical and social needs of the elderly and their families.

The Operations Support Assistant provides in person customer focused support to ensure the smooth running of daily operation activities. Physically based within the services, the position required interactions with a wide variety of stakeholders, both internal and external, and affords the opportunity to directly see and experience the impact out services make in the livers of those we support.
The role contributes to efficient service delivery by managing diaries and events, responding to enquiries, maintaining accurate records, and supporting finance and procurement processes.
As well as in-person support to the service in which the role is based, the position is part of a team collaborating to provide support across the whole organisation.
This role is based at our Linburn Veterans Centre.

SRUC’s Students’ Association (SRUCSA) is the representative body for students at Scotland’s Rural College. Sitting with SRUC’s Centre for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT), SRUCSA works to ensure that students’ voices shape the life and work of SRUC, empowering students through representation, advocacy, and community building. The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and enhance the student experience at SRUC by leading the ongoing development of the SRUC Students’ Association (SRUCSA). You will combine strategic leadership with effective operational management, supporting and developing student officers and representatives, strengthening student voice and participation, and fostering an inclusive, engaged and vibrant student community across all SRUC campuses.

Minimum Qualifications:
The minimum qualifications required for this role are an SCQF Level 8 qualification (or equivalent), a relevant professional qualification, and/or significant relevant experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills and expertise required to successfully undertake the responsibilities of the post.
