We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Asset Officer to join our Investment Team and play a key role in
delivering our ambitious asset management and investment programmes.
About the Role
Working closely with the Asset Manager, you will help deliver efficient, compliant and customer-focused asset
management services across our housing stock. You will support the planning and delivery of investment and
improvement programmes, ensuring our homes continue to meet high standards and evolving regulatory
requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting planned maintenance and capital investment programmes.
- Managing contractors, monitoring
performance and ensuring value for money.
- Assisting with procurement, contract administration and
project delivery.
- Maintaining and analysing stock condition and asset data.
- Supporting
compliance, health and safety and tenant safety requirements.
- Monitoring budgets and performance
information.
- Working collaboratively with tenants, contractors and colleagues to achieve excellent
outcomes and customer satisfaction.
About You
We are looking for someone who combines technical knowledge with excellent customer focus and communication
skills.
You should have:
- An HNC qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant technical, construction, surveying, asset management or
property-related discipline, or substantial relevant experience.
- Experience of property maintenance,
planned works, contractor management or housing asset management.
- Strong organisational, analytical and
problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance
requirements.
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining excellent customer service
standards.
- Good ICT skills and experience of working with performance, asset or property-related
information systems.
