Rape Crisis Scotland (RCS) is Scotland’s leading organisation working to support survivors of sexual violence, transform attitudes, improve the justice response to sexual crime and, ultimately, to end sexual violence in all its forms.

The organisation is seeking a part-time Policy Worker to support the development of Rape Crisis Scotland’s policy and influencing work to improve justice, health and community outcomes for survivors of rape and sexual violence across Scotland.

The role will support Rape Crisis Scotland’s campaigning priorities and respond to changes in laws, policies, and practices which affect survivors.

The Policy Worker will work directly with survivors and specialist sexual violence services across the country to ensure that lived experience and expertise is at the heart of policy development and improved responses.

The role will also support Rape Crisis Scotland in its work with the Scottish Women’s Rights Centre, which supports survivors of gender-based violence in the civil justice process.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Employability Officer to lead and develop our employability and adult learning programmes. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of our employability services, including the No One Left Behind programme, funded by Glasgow City Council and delivered through the Glasgow Ethnic Minority Service (GEMS) consortium. Led by Bridges Programmes, GEMS brings together community organisations and education partners, including Glasgow Clyde College, Cranhill Community Trust, Community Renewal, GECCo, Govanhill Community Development Trust and Amina MWRC, to provide accessible and inclusive employability support to marginalised communities across Glasgow.

As Lead Employability Officer, you will line manage and support Project Officers delivering these services, ensuring high-quality provision and positive outcomes for service users. You will also build and strengthen partnerships across the voluntary, statutory and private sectors, developing collaborative initiatives that create opportunities and remove barriers to employment.

East Dunbartonshire Women’s Aid (EDWA) is looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join our team. We are looking for a Finance Officer who will be committed to our aims and values and who will bring extensive financial management experience and skills to our charity.

The main role of the post holder will be to oversee and manage the overall financial health of the charity, ensuring the sustainability of our services and providing financial monitoring information to our main funders and our Board of Trustees. As our Finance Officer, you’ll help ensure that every £1 donated creates maximum impact for the women, children and young people who need it most.

EDWA operates with a high level of funding from a variety of sources and applicants should therefore have at least two years’ experience of managing significant budgets with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.

You are required to have the appropriate skills, experience and qualifications that are relevant to the duties outlined in the job description, including being proficient in the use of Sage One Payroll and Microsoft Excel.

You should have an understanding of the feminist analysis of domestic abuse and be willing to work within the group’s collective, non-hierarchical structure.

The role is based in Kirkintilloch with potential for home/flexible working as part of your working week. Attendance will be required at our weekly team meetings to fulfil collective management responsibilities.

As there may be times where you will informally meet women, children or young people using our services, this post is subject to a successful PVG scheme check. We will also require suitable references and completion of a satisfactory 6-month induction period.

As a Specialist Worker - CYP you will provide preventative, crisis intervention and on-going support to children and young people who are directly or indirectly exposed to the issues of domestic abuse.

This 1 x 26 hour post, located in East Kilbride until one year from start date, involves ensuring that a high standard of crisis intervention and casework support is provided to children and young people escaping, experiencing or requiring support with domestic abuse issues. This includes Women’s Aid South Lanarkshire and East Renfrewshire’s out-of-hours, group work and on call service provision.
