We are looking for an Assistant Shop Manager to join our team in Dalgety Bay, to elevate shop visual and product standards, to maximise income through commercial awareness and to raise awareness of CHAS.
CHAS shops are a fast-paced, busy retail environment, you’ll lead and support a strong team of diverse volunteers and manage a large volume of donations to help keep our shops beautifully stocked.

Key responsibilities, reporting to the Shop Manager you will
- Manage stock processes to ensure correct density levels, processing to agreed quality and rotation so that stock moves quickly
- Ensure the smooth operational running of the shop
- Help to maintain a high standard of visual merchandising, display and housekeeping standards throughout the shop
- Be a brand ambassador for CHAS promoting and bringing to life the communication of key activities and messages to the customer
- Provide CHAS customers with excellent service and the best in-store experience to help maximise sales, donations and the profitability of the shop

What will a day in the life of a Registered Manager involve?

To be a successful Registered Manager, what will you need?
- SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care and a PDA in Supervision (or equivalent).

As a Senior Fundraiser at the Ayrshire Hospice you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring we maximise our income and maintain the highest standards of donor and supporter care. Your work will be instrumental in enabling us to continue to provide specialist palliative care and services to people and families affected by life shortening illness across Ayrshire and Arran.
As a Senior Fundraiser – Individual Giving you will work collaboratively with other fundraisers managing and supporting a key range of individual giving fundraising initiatives, including a committed giving scheme, fundraising campaigns, the hospice lottery, legacies and trust and grants.
Supported by the Fundraising Manager and Senior Fundraising Manager, you will develop and shape this area of fundraising, including creating new products and stewardship plans, resulting in the engagement, development and retention of supporters.
The Rehabilitation Worker will facilitate positive lifestyle changes for clients by developing and implementing individual Action Plans to enable clients to live predominantly without using substances.
GRADE (A): £34,941 - £39,363
Candidates should:
- Be qualified to Degree/Diploma level or equivalent in Social Work, Nursing, Community Learning and Development OR hold an SVQ4 Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 9.
- Have experience of working with individuals with issues relating to their drug and/or alcohol use.
- Be computer literate.
GRADE (B): £31,761 - £34,914
Candidates should:
- Be qualified to HNC in Social Care or equivalent OR SVQ3 Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 7.
- Have experience of working with individuals with issues relating to their drug and/or alcohol use.
- Be computer literate.
The service operates on a Fife-wide basis therefore the ability to travel across Fife is essential.
FIRST operate a blended model of office/home working.
Finance, Admin and Business Officer

Based in the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, the REH Patients Council (SCIO) strengthens the voices of people with lived experience (both patients and former patients) and aims to realise all of our human rights, by the means of independent collective advocacy.
An exciting opportunity has opened up within our small (but growing!) friendly and flexible team, for a Finance, Administration and Business Officer who will use their experience and knowledge of third sector financial, contractual, monitoring, reporting, recording and business planning needs to enable us to comply with all necessary financial, accounting and contract management requirements, in order to maintain and deliver on our core collective advocacy functions.
