We are seeking an Assistant Project Worker to join our GAMH Community Recovery Service providing individual support and group coordination at our Community Hub and wider Group Activities.

This is a city-wide service, and, in this role, you will support adults experiencing or recovering from mental health challenges through the provision of personalised one to one support, recovery-focused groupwork and wellbeing activities. You will help create safe, welcoming, and inclusive environments where people can build confidence, develop skills, improve wellbeing, reduce isolation, and strengthen supportive relationships.

Experience of working in mental health, social care, community development, group facilitation, or a related field is desirable. Knowledge of recovery approaches, strengths-based practice and social inclusion would be advantageous.

A qualification at SVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards achieving this qualification, is essential. As these services are registered with the Care Inspectorate and you will be required to pay an annual fee to maintain your registration.
