About the Fundraising Team
Relationships are at the heart of everything we do at Cyrenians, with those we support and those who support us too.
It’s an exciting time for fundraising at Cyrenians. Our team has only been around for a few years and in that time, income generation has grown rapidly. It’s now time to take it to the next level.
With a fundraising mix currently dominated by corporate partnerships, individual giving and major donors, we are looking to build on our previous growth while also broadening our mix to events, community fundraising and legacies.
About the role
This role will work closely with our Senior Manager, taking our fundraising strategy and turning it into operational plans, developing the team to deliver in a way that is collaborative, innovative and measurable. Close relationships with our Marketing & Communications and services teams are integral to delivery.
The role has a strong focus on people management, sharing your fundraising expertise with a relatively new team who are ready and eager to learn.
About you
You’ll be a knowledgeable fundraiser, who lives our values and takes great care to build relationships with and in your team, across the organisation and with our treasured supporters. You may have already built or led a fundraising team, with an emphasis on fostering a positive and collaborative culture.
A champion for data-led activity, you’ll take a plan, do, review approach to your fundraising, ensuring learnings are shared and embedded as we move forward.

Working closely with colleagues in Marcomms, Trusts & Grants and our services, you’ll be surrounded by those who share your passion to tackle homelessness and its root causes. We’ll encourage you to grow your management experience, with creativity, strong values and innovation, and to take a planned and pragmatic approach to your calendar of activity and implementing new initiatives.
You will be supported to attend training and networking events to deepen your knowledge of the issues surrounding homelessness and social exclusion; engage with a variety of stakeholders and extend your professional network.

Context
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation and lead a growing and ambitious Fundraising and Communications (F&C) team.
The primary role of the Fundraising and Communications Manager is to ensure the delivery of all fundraising and communications activity for the organisation, in line with the F&C strategies, policies and procedures.
The F&C manager will have the opportunity to shape our ongoing fundraising strategy, paying particular attention to key growth areas including Individual Giving and Events, while supporting colleagues across multiple other fundraising disciplines.

Street Fit Scotland (SFS) provides health, fitness, and wellbeing programmes for individuals and groups affected by or experiencing homelessness, including people experiencing addiction or affected by alcohol, drugs, and other dependencies.
We deliver a range of physical fitness and wellbeing sessions that focus on improving mental and physical health, reducing social isolation and loneliness, and supporting people to reconnect with mainstream society.
We are seeking a motivated, committed, enthusiastic, organised, and passionate individual to join our team as a Link Worker (Drug and Alcohol).
Purpose of the Role
The Link Worker will provide person-centred support to Street Fit Scotland members experiencing drug, alcohol, and wider health-related challenges. The postholder will work alongside members to increase access to support, strengthen wellbeing, and improve outcomes through a compassionate and harm reduction approach.
The role will involve:
• Providing one-to-one and group support to SFS members experiencing drug, alcohol, and health-related issues.
• Building positive external relationships with partner agencies including housing, addiction, mental health, and wider support services to strengthen wraparound support.
• Managing referrals and signposting pathways.
• Developing support resources and innovative approaches to working alongside members using a person-centred approach.

About the service
The service works with people who are experiencing challenges such as poor health, social isolation, financial pressures, or difficult life circumstances, supporting them through GP practices in Falkirk East and Falkirk Central. It focuses on early, practical help by offering personalised support conversations that look at the whole person, not just their immediate health concerns.
The aim is to help people feel more confident, supported, and connected within their local community. By working closely with individuals, the service helps them find and access the right local support, build resilience, and take positive steps towards improving their overall wellbeing and quality of life.
About the role
This role works within GP practices to support people to improve their wellbeing through practical, person-centred support and strong links to community services. You will help connect healthcare with local resources so people can access the right support at the right time.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Building trusting relationships to understand people’s needs and goals
- Supporting people to access local services and community-based support
- Working with GP teams and partner organisations to improve joined-up support
About you
We are looking for someone who is confident working with people facing complex challenges, and who can build trust and support positive change in a person-centred way.
Key requirements include:
- Experience supporting people in challenging or complex situations
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trusting and supportive relationships
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good organisation and professional boundaries

You’ll be joining a small but experienced and knowledgeable team who will give you full introduction to all aspects of Community Link Service.
You’ll have a supportive manager as well as access to wider Cyrenians support, including our learning and development programme, and staff wellbeing services.
