We are seeking an experienced, Glasgow-based fundraiser to join us as a Regional Development Officer. In this role, you’ll be a confident, visible champion for Mary’s Meals, someone who knows the city, understands its communities, and can build relationships that spark action. You’ll bring boldness and creativity to your work, whether delivering inspiring talks in churches and schools, making fundraising asks or forging genuine partnerships with local businesses and networks.

Using your deep knowledge of Glasgow’s people and places, you will identify high potential opportunities, grow income and participation, and cultivate a committed local movement of supporters and volunteers. Through strategic, outward facing work, you’ll turn first conversations into committed, long term support that strengthens our movement and fuels our mission.

Working closely with the Head of Scotland, you will co design and deliver a local growth plan shaped by the pulse of your region. You will represent Mary’s Meals across faith communities, schools, community groups, business networks, and key connectors, bringing energy, authenticity, and a passion for our mission.

Highly autonomous, you’ll combine insight, data, and local intuition to focus on areas of greatest opportunity. You’ll collaborate across the organisation to create seamless supporter journeys and tell compelling, meaningful stories. Key responsibilities include

• Work with the Head of Scotland to create and deliver an insight driven regional growth plan, with clear priorities around income, visibility, and volunteer mobilisation.

• Use local knowledge, data, and community insight to focus your time on the strongest opportunities for growth.

• Balance relationship building with a proactive, opportunity-led approach, identifying new supporters, networks, and partnerships and developing them from prospective supporters into committed donors.

• Actively network across Glasgow to initiate new meetings, build connections, and follow up purposefully.

• Represent Mary’s Meals with authenticity and enthusiasm across schools, churches, parishes, universities, community groups, and local businesses.

• Deliver engaging talks, assemblies, parish visits, small events, networking sessions, and partnership meetings that increase income, participation, and visibility.

• Build a diverse pipeline of leads and partnerships that reflect Glasgow’s communities and faith landscape.

• Create the environment for a strong volunteer network and empower volunteers through thoughtful delegation, coaching, encouragement, and recognition.

• Strengthen local visibility by nurturing community connectors and supporting appropriate local media engagement.

About the team

The Water Industry Partnerships Team develops and supports WaterAid’s relationships with water companies and the wider water industry in the UK. We inspire and manage volunteers, steering the development of high-income corporate events, and build opportunities for water company employees and customers to connect with our work.

About the role

As our Senior Water Industry Partnerships Officer, you will develop and implement the partner strategy for Northern Ireland Water and manage the Scottish Water partnership on a day-to-day basis.

In this role, you will:

• Manage existing Water Company partners within Scotland (at committee level) and Northern Ireland (at a strategic and committee level)
• Lead on the setup and delivery of all mass participation events across water industry partners in the UK
• Lead on event management of high-value events with Water Company partner organisations
• Support the Senior Partnerships Manager to steer, provide coaching and support work plans for the WIP Team Assistant
• Lead on systems / fundraising / events compliance processes across the UK team to ensure that all partner activity is compliant with fundraising, gambling and data protection laws to protect the reputation of the partners and WaterAid.
• Own account and partnership development plans, delivering on commitments and personalised stewardship to hit KPIs
• Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• Experience in, and understanding of, fundraising compliance
• Experience in organising mass participation events
• Proven ability to manage a busy workload and deliver across multiple projects/teams
• Confident external engagement: written, verbal, presentation, and face-to-face.

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• Experience working or volunteering in the voluntary sector
• Familiarity with the UK water industry
• Experience managing high-value events

As part of our annual leave policy, all employees receive three additional days of annual leave on top of their standard allocation of 25 days. The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh is seeking to recruit a Personal Assistant (PA) to the President serving within the President’s Private Office. This is a part-time role based at the College in Queen Street, Edinburgh.

The Role

The postholder will provide support to the President in the conduct of official duties and ensuring the smooth and professional operation of the President’s Private Office. You will manage the President’s diary, co-ordinate the President’s national and international travel, and act as the first point of contact for enquiries and visitors.

While the postholder will work closely with and take day‑to‑day instruction from the President, formal managerial oversight is exercised by the Chief Executive Officer, in accordance with the College’s governance arrangements.

The Person:

We are seeking a pro-active individual with exceptional organisational skills, a calm and professional manner, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with absolute confidentiality.

The postholder will navigate professional relationships and collaborate across teams and someone who operates with a strong sense of duty, integrity, and discretion.

Remuneration Package

The salary for this role will be £36,587 FTE (£13,066 pro rata) per annum plus benefits. Additional benefits include:

We are recruiting for Carer Information Assistant to join our team. Lanarkshire Carers is an organisation where you will be supported, valued and well rewarded.
