CoWL are recruiting a Support Advisor with a specialist focus on Self Directed Support (SDS). This Inspiring Scotland funded role will provide direct support to unpaid carers and disabled people through individual and group based work. The post holder will deliver independent information, advice and support to those considering or receiving SDS, supporting outcome focused conversations and informed decision making, alongside providing wider CoWL support in response to individual needs.

Carers can't wait, and in this pivotal role you'll lead our income generation strategy in Scotland, helping us secure the financial support we need to deliver big for people across Scotland with caring responsibilities.

Reporting to the Director for Scotland-with support from our UK Fundraising team-you will establish and grow sustainable financial support from a range of sources, including corporate partnerships and trusts.

You will be a confident and passionate communicator able to persuasively share our impact and vision with a diverse range of funders.

The Senior Fundraising Manager for Scotland will play a pivotal role in ensuring we have the diversified and sustainable income portfolio needed to deliver our ambitious and innovative plans in Scotland. Reporting to the Director for Scotland, with a dotted line to the UK Fundraising team, you will lead on developing and managing strategic fundraising relationships across Scotland and establish and grow sustainable financial support from a range of sources, including corporate partnerships, trusts, and major donor relationships.

You will act as a key in-country fundraising lead, working collaboratively with the central UK Fundraising team to build a strong and balanced pipeline of opportunities, increase income generation capacity, and reduce reliance on statutory funding over time.

Are you passionate about supporting others and making a genuine difference in your local community? We are looking for a dedicated Carer Link Worker to join our team and provide vital support to unpaid Carers across Lochaber & Skye.

As a Carer Link Worker, you’ll deliver a locally embedded information and advice service ensuring Carers can easily access timely, accurate and relevant support close to where they live. Working at the heart of the community, you will act as a key point of contact for Carers seeking guidance or connection.

Through outcome focused, person centred conversations, you will support Carers explore what matters most to them, identify their needs, and understand the options available. These conversations may include developing an Adult Carer Support Plan (ACSP) and carrying out regular reviews to monitor progress and adapt support as circumstances change.

A core part of the role involves active engagement within the local community, building strong local relationships, raising awareness of carer support, and proactively reaching Carers who may not yet be connected to services. You will also be contributing to local partnership meetings and work collaboratively with health, social care, and third sector partners to ensure Carers’ voices, rights and needs are recognised within local planning and service delivery.

Edinburgh Young Carers (EYC) is seeking a suitably experienced and qualified applicant to join and develop our service, providing high quality support to young carers in Edinburgh between the ages of 5 and 25 years, who care for someone with problematic substance use at home.

The postholder will work alongside colleagues to raise awareness of young carers and their support needs, identify hidden young carers, carry out Young Carers Statements/Adult Carer Support Plans and provide support to ensure that young carers’ identified personal outcomes are being met, in accordance with the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016.

The successful candidate will be suitably qualified and have proven experience of working with children and young people affected by parental/family substance use difficulties, with at least 3 years’ proven experience in a role including individual and group work. A sound understanding of Child Protection issues and relevant legislation is also required.
